Key responsibilities

• User Support - Respond to IT-related inquiries from end-users. Provide prompt and effective technical assistance for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps to resolve common IT problems. Escalate complex issues to the senior engineers if necessary.
• Software and Hardware Support - Install, configure, and maintain software applications on end-users' computers and mobile devices. Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of hardware devices, including computers, printers, peripherals, and audio-visual equipment. Address printing-related issues, including troubleshooting printer connectivity problems. Possess knowledge of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting. Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to provide maintenance services for our customers, with a focus on Linux systems. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation, stability, and security of IT infrastructure across multiple customer environments. This role requires the ability to manage and respond to the support needs of different customers as they arise, delivering high-quality service and support. The position also requires 24x7 standby availability with a duty phone, rotating on a weekly basis among team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer System Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on Linux (RedHat) servers for multiple customers, including updates, patch management, and system tuning. Verify backup processes for various customer systems before working on it, ensuring in the unfortunate event, the data or system can be restored.
  
• 24x7 Standby and Incident Response: Be available on a 24x7 standby basis with a duty phone, rotating weekly among team members.
  Respond promptly to support calls and emails from different customers, diagnosing and resolving issues to restore normal operations.
  Manage multiple customer incidents concurrently, ensuring timely and effective communication with each customer.
  
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for complex system issues across multiple customer environments, collaborating with other teams as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to work on a project basis, with a strong focus on Windows Server, VMware, backup solutions (e.g. Veeam, Acronis), and NAS storage systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience in Microsoft technologies including Active Directory (AD), Office 365 (O365), SCCM, SCOM, DHCP, DNS/WINS, Group Policy and OS hardening. An additional advantage is having experience with SAN storage. Microsoft Active Directory deployments, and configure failover clustering as part of various projects.

Required Qualifications:

Job Descriptions:

a) Report and assist Project Manager (PM) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals.

b) Assist Project Manager in project planning, implementation and to coordinate all construction works on the project site are in accordance to the master and detailed work program.

c) Prepare, plan and submit project related documents, such as schedules, method statement, design plan, risk assessment, monthly report, etc.

d) To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specification/bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices and all other contract document.

e) To coordinate and liaise with Client’s representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc. on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.

f) Liaise with client or consultant for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports and ensure necessary records are maintained at site. Assist Contract department (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims from Contractors.

g) Attend regular meetings with Client’s Representative, Consultants and/or Contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule.

h) Establish proper and effective document control system, maintain & conduct reviews of detail design drawings, project documents and specifications.

i) Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.

Requirements

· Degree in Civil Engineering (Recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)

· At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the construction industry ie: Roadworks; MRT

o Perform commissioning of Products from system setup to route mapping and product operations testing

o Execute upgrade and modification requests for an existing hardware or system via remote or on-site support
