Main Responsibilities:

• Support and advocate for Visa clients comprised of financial institutions and vendors
• Properly escalate incidents promptly per support guidelines and procedures
• Proactively monitor, recognize, analyze, isolate, and resolve VOCC outages utilizing a variety of tools and techniques
• Internal and External Bridge Stewardship in support of timely resolution of internal and client-facing issues
• Work simultaneously and independently on multiple platforms
• Assess the impact of incidents and author communication for distribution to appropriate recipients within set time frames without guidance

Work Hours: This position requires the candidate to work 12 hours shift work during the day (with a 2 weeks rotation). When scheduled, the staff would be required to work on weekends and public holidays.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Movements of various goods and services, intellectual property and money across international borders can be restricted by various national and international trade control laws and is subject to customs procedures and requirements that also have a financial impact for Shell.

Violations of relevant trade control laws (sanction or export controls) or customs regulations can also lead to loss of export and import privileges and significant fines for Shell and individual staff as well as imprisonment for individuals. In line with the Shell General Business Principles (SGBP), compliance with trade control legislation is therefore imperative for Shell as a company heavily involved in international trading activities.

Reporting to the International Trade Manager within Trading & Supply (T&S) Regulation compliance team, the Senior Advisor Trade Controls is the lead Trade Control focal point supporting Trade Controls compliance for the Asia Pacific, for the different Trading & Supply business activities and lines of business (Crude Trading, Products Trading, Gas & Energy Marketing & Trading, Shipping & Supply Operations) as required. The role holder will work together closely with the Trade Control Manager (TCM) , Finance, Operations and Commercial staff in Trading & Supply and key stakeholders outside of T&S.

The Senior Advisor Trade Compliance has global responsibility to:

• Manage and develop the expertise of the team of Trade Compliance experts within T&S for Asia Pacific
• Provide operational Trade Compliance advice and instructions (sanctions, export controls and/or customs) with the support and guidance of International Trade Manager
• Provide first line support for Trading and Supply queries and operational support
• Provide second line support and advice and guidance for standard Trade Compliance issues with support from the TCM T&S
• Liaise closely with Trade Compliance Manager and his team to resolve and avoid Trade Compliance issues (e.g., application of sanctions, imports, exports)
• Assist the TCM in assessing T&S’s risk exposure based on sufficient knowledge of applicable Trade Compliance regulations and Shell procedures
• Address escalations to the TCM of counterparty screening matches
• Support training for the T&S business and the Compliance Advisory team to manage basic Trade Compliance queries; Acquire, possess, and maintain adequate levels of Trade Compliance knowledge, experience, and expertise
• Acquire, possess, and maintain a robust working knowledge of the T&S business to support the TCM and enable integration of mandatory Trade Compliance procedures into business processes to manage and mitigate identified Trade Compliance risks
• Keep apprised of changes in regulatory requirements
• Promote awareness of Trade Compliance risks and required processes throughout the organization
• Maintain close collaboration with all relevant functions and compliance staff (e.g., Corporate Relations, Shell Ethics & Compliance, Ethics & Compliance Manager) via the Trade Control Manager in the respective organization.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Physics, Material science or Diploma in Business Administration and other fields

• Experience in laboratory management is advantageous

• Documented experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Outlook)

• IT literate and good in Writing Skills

NTU Shared Services (NSS) is a centralized unit within Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that provides a wide range of administrative, operational, and support services to various departments and units within the university. Its primary goal is to streamline and optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality services to support NTU's core mission of education and research.

The NSS Technical Support Executive is responsible for providing effective IT/AV technical support role, in relation to the generic desktop/ laptop PCs, mobile devices, Audio Visual (AV) equipment, as well as NTU campus software. This includes problem diagnosis, configuration, installation, and general troubleshooting of IT/AV systems and applications, adhering closely to the Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) and policies set by the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site Level 1 & 2 Support in relation to IT/AV- related service disruptions at the Common Teaching Facilities (Lecture Theatres, Tutorial Rooms and Meeting Rooms), One Stop Tech Lounge and Schools/Faculties.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot IT/AV equipment faults and application errors, to restore service provision.

• Troubleshoot technical problems of low to medium complexity, resolution to resolve these incidents.

• Assist in replacing generic IT/AV equipment parts and peripheral components for servicing, as required, and liaising with multiple vendors.

• Provide IT/AV technical support as assigned, in response to ad-hoc manpower request from Local Units (including providing AV support for events, video conference/ meeting/ interview support).

• Respond to all technical emergencies raised by NSS Service Desk.

• Provide face to face IT support by appointment at One Stop Tech Lounge.

• Facilitate processing and tracking of other administrative activities.

• Document IT/AV related problems and resolution procedures in Knowledge Base for future reference.

• Maintain technical documentation related to configuration of IT/AV equipment and components.

• Carry out Asset management in accordance with NTU policy and procedures. Keep track of the IT/AV asset movements at the respective storeroom locations.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE “A”-levels / Diploma in Information Technology with 2 years of relevant working experience

• Proficient in problem diagnostics and resolution, with the ability to work autonomously

• Good working knowledge on desktop operating systems including Windows 10 and above, Macintosh OS, and associated generic applications

• Working knowledge on other IT domains, including software, hardware, servers and network operations

• Working knowledge in handling/operations on audio/video equipment and its infrastructure

• Preferred experience on programming, ServiceNow, data integration and ITIL Certified
