As an Investor Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for being the single point of contact and program/operations lead for a regional team of business development professionals working with venture capital, accelerator and other startup ecosystem. You will work with these firms and their portfolio companies to drive awareness, adoption and customer success with Google Cloud services. You will own the playbooks that define engagement with the investor ecosystem, monitor and share best practices, and be the expert on global programs and offerings for our investor partners. You’ll also be the liaison with the Global Google Cloud Startup team, synthesizing regional insights and feedback and using those to help drive the overall global ecosystem strategy. You will collaborate with peers internally with Sales, Strategy and Operations, Customer Engineering, Marketing and Partnership Solutions.

Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with Google Cloud regional leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop ecosystem strategy for the region, aligned to global strategy and leveraging global programs.
• Drive value creation for the portfolio companies through the adoption and usage of Google Cloud services, liaising with various functions internally to address the needs of portfolio companies.
• Analyze the effectiveness of specific investor engagement efforts, and make recommendations for how to best work with our ecosystem partners.
• Drive ongoing governance to grow the partnerships while working with key stakeholders and regional leaders to align on the go-to-market plan.
• Support partnership efforts with priority Venture Capital (VC) firms by acting as a central point of contact for a distributed team of relationship managers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in business development roles, managing multiple evolving projects in parallel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in software and technology companies or VC firms.
• Understanding of early stage startup community and technical ecosystem.
• Ability to analyze large datasets to develop overall regional and partnership-specific growth strategies.
• Ability to grow with ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing demands of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role within commissioning is responsible for working across and delivering independent and in-house commissions for Chinese (primary) and English (secondary) unscripted content.

This role is important to delivering our strategy, working with both In-House Studio and the External Production Houses to commission content based on a deep understanding of audience needs. The ability to commission across platforms as we move to an ever-digital world will be critical in the way audiences experience what Mediacorp has to offer.

Responsibilities

Youll ensure that priorities and editorial strategy are aligned, also inspire and engage in-house and independent producers by articulating your editorial priorities, and work with them to create and develop ideas that meet our audiences needs. Youll also provide creative leadership to the development process, encouraging risk taking and innovation whilst maintaining expertise to identify trends and opportunities for outstanding content.

Your commissions have to demonstrate value for money, quality and originality. Commissioned programmes have to be compliant with existing codes and guidelines, delivered within timeline and budget considerations that you are accountable for.

Managing Commissions Successfully

• Ensure that the content is in line with the overall audience, content and editorial strategy
• To be responsible for ensuring that programmes deliver on time and budget and to an editorially high standard. This includes scheduling and monitoring progress on programmes, anticipating problems and taking appropriate action.
• Review budgets, scripts, cast, offlines, marketing campaigns; you must be able to give detailed copious notes on every script and offline episode with the aim of improving the quality of the programmes
• Brainstorm with the Marketing and Social media teams to ensure maximum publicity for your shows.
• Work closely with marketing and comms with regards to the press and marketing strategies for commissioned programmes.
• Collaborate with Commercial to ensure revenue optimization for the programmes you are assigned to
• Monitor and assess qualitative and quantitative performance of programmes using data analytics and focus group studies

• Degree in any related discipline with at least 3 to 5 years of content development experience

Experiences

• Experience and track record either with or within external production houses or Mediacorp Studio for the unscripted genre, with demonstrable examples of content that have delivered both impact and audiences.
• Display good editorial judgement and practical knowledge and experience of applying legal and editorial guidelines as they relate to content creation.
• Some degree of knowledge and experience in the application of the legal dimension of contractual agreements and corporate agreements as they affect production.

Knowledge

Duties to Perform:

The Senior Chemical Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk chemical and high purity chemical systems for industrial facilities in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk chemicals, high-purity chemicals, slurries, and related distribution networks.

The Senior Chemical Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, pecifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender.

The Prospective Candidate will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required. The Prospective Candidate will work closely with other disciplines such as Architects, Civil, Cleanroom, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, and Construction Engineers, as well as CAD/ BIM designer in designing and delivering the project.

Requirements:

You should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

You should have sound experience in designing high-purity chemicals and distribution systems related to semiconductors manufacturing or similar facilities. You should be able to comprehend clients’ URS, and design with concept design, schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layout, the scope of work, specifications, and functional descriptions. The experience in designing Gas systems will be definite added advantage.

Your familiarity with the Semi standards and both Singapore and Malaysia standards, manufacturing tools, materials, and CAD/ BIM will be an added advantage. You should be able to make presentations to clients and engineers on design, tendering, project execution, supervising progress, and quality of work.
