Working Hours

• Required to work on Paris and/or New York and/or Asia time zone*, i.e. 2pm to 11pm/4pm to 1am (summer season) or 3pm to 12am/ 5pm to 2am (winter season), or in accordance to the planned time schedule as required. If necessary, staff may also be required to start work earlier or to extend working hours.

Part-time Lecturer in Publishing

We are seeking an experienced publisher capable of teaching HL6212 Technology and Electronic Publishing as one of our offerings in the Master of Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing within the School of Humanities. Candidates should have a proven track-record in the publishing industry. The instructor will be responsible for leading workshops and seminars for three class hours per week, in addition to syllabus planning, class preparation, marking for assessment and student consultation.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher
• Tertiary teaching experience
• 5 years experience in the publishing industry

The role reports into the B2B Acceptance team within VBS.   Our focus within B2B Acceptance is to identify needs, assess opportunities and options and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution. This role specifically is responsible for building and expanding Merchant relationships in multiple Asian markets. Specific responsibilities for this role may include:

• Managing a portfolio of top B2B merchants with significant commercial payment volume for Visa.

• Oversee Merchants with a consultative and strategic approach to uncover a full understanding of their card acceptance processes and challenges. 

• Identify B2B expansion opportunities - agreements with accepting and non-accepting merchants-suppliers and expand B2B commercial volume through Acquisition-Expansion, Partnership or Relationship management

• Investigating with internal and external partners to understand business needs and local market conditions

• Contribute active leadership to the broader B2B Acceptance team and VBS organization.

• Ensure merchants-suppliers are optimizing their acceptance environment though use of appropriate tools-solutions.

• Actively develop acceptance deals with suppliers-merchants to position Visa as a preferred method for commercial payment.

• Drive deep analytics and deal-modeling leadership, partner closely with regional AEs and BDs, VBS Sales Specialists and MS&A, Pricing and other functions.

Biospringer APAC is seeking an entry-level Finance & Data Analyst to support the Asia Pacific business.

This position is a key member of our Biospringer APAC team and Biospringer Finance team and will work in close collaborations with cross functional teams in APAC, China and France.

It includes 3 main responsibilities.

Reporting:
• To coordinate monthly closing activities with entities producing for and selling on APAC markets to ensure compliance with BIOSPRINGER & Group reporting procedures
• To analyse, prepare and consolidate the monthly reporting at BIOSPRINGER APAC level
• To conduct analysis to understand variances between budget/forecast and actual performance/results
• To perform margin analysis
• To communicate with BIOSPRINGER Global finance team and BIOSPRINGER entities to understand APAC performance
• To track, monitor, and feedback on variance analysis (i.e.: pricing, costing, OPEX, …) to respective stakeholders

Budgeting and Forecasting
• To coordinate budgeting and forecasting processses and activities at BIOSPRINGER APAC level in accordance with Group and BIOSPRINGER Budget guidance,
• To analyse, prepare and consolidate Budget at BIOSPRINGER APAC level for discussion with BIOSPRINGER Global team

Business Support
• To take charge of cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing BIOSPRINGER APAC results and to ensure regular monitoring
• To monitor profitability per product / customer and be part of pricing management with Marketing team
• To be a business partner to the Sales team, and Sales admin team, in case of overdue
• To support accuracy of our S&OP forecast thanks to Sales data analysis
• To ensure transfer price rules follows Group guideline
• To actively participate and deploy the Group's procedures & projects at the regional level
• To coordinate and support compliance project if needed
