Primary Function of Position

Working closely with Asia Finance & Sales Operations manager, global peers and other function leadership in Asia, the Asia FP&A Analyst proactively performs detailed analytical functions to provide financial insights for business partners to allocate company resource for the faster growth of da Vinci business in Asia and to enhance cost effectiveness.

• Manage reception desk and handle client queries.
• Assisting the vets in their daily tasks, including during consultations.
• Anaesthesia monitoring and assisting in surgery.

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, BioTechnology, Veterinary Bioscience, or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year of experience working with animals preferred
• Must be PC, Microsoft Office and Internet literate.
• Career path will include assuming a supervisory role in the clinic.
• Must be compassionate towards and be willing to clean up after sick animals.
• Hours can be long, and there is weekend work.

We are in search of an enthusiastic veterinary colleague with some experience to join our small animal clinic that sees some exotics. The successful applicant will be settling in a friendly environment, well supported by a good team of nurses and experienced veterinarians. Our principal is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne and has a special interest and qualifications in aquatic medicine. New and recent graduates are welcome to apply- for whom there will be a mentoring process.

The practice was established in 2002 and is still growing. We make full use of all our equipment, which include the full suite of Idexx blood machines, Ultrasound, Radiography, Gastro-scope, Cryosurgical equipment, Tonometry, etc.

We are a busy practice with exposure to a wide variety of medicine and surgical cases. We strive for patient advocacy, client care, and staff wellbeing.

The clinic is open for consultations Mon-Sat 9.30- 1pm, and 3-7.30pm. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

We want to support our veterinarians to grow in their hands-on and diagnostic skills. CPE is encouraged and financially supported, including furthering individual interests in veterinary medicine and surgery. There is also opportunity for future career development in the practice for the right candidate.

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
• Attend to a wide range of guest requests, including but not limited to extra beds, baby cribs, towels, and bathroom and bedroom amenities.
• Assist the housekeeping team by providing support as required. This may involve tasks such as moving beds and furniture, delivering non-feather bedding, or assisting with hanging curtains.
• Handle guest laundry pick-up and delivery requests efficiently.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning guestrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust assigned areas.
• Ensure proper recording of daily guest loan items list and runner job list.
• Manage the inventory of linen room, ensure proper stock levels, and organize regular inventory checks to maintain adequate supplies.
• Prepare stock with necessary cleaning supplies to top up trolley.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all areas, maintaining a tidy and sanitary environment.
• Report to Superior when stocks reach minimum and defects for ordering purposes.
• Record all maintenance and cleaning into daily checklist accordingly and accurately.
• Utilize the internal system to receive and complete tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• To attend any meetings requested or training courses where necessary.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• Monitor the quality of ingredients and cooked dishes / pastry meet the hotel’s standards.
• Assist in managing kitchen inventory by keeping track of ingredients, ordering supplies, and minimising food wastage.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials in assigned areas, ensuring proper storage, handling, and usage.
• Assist in training within department and to attend training sessions when requested.
• Keep the Respective Kitchen in Charge informed about all aspects of the assigned section.
• Complete Mise en Place according to standard operating procedures and meet with the Respective Kitchen in Charge daily to plan food and beverage activities.
• Assist in other food production areas as needed.
• Maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues and all other departments.
• Participate in serving guests during outside catering events as assigned.
• Coordinate with the stewarding department to address daily operational needs and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management.
