The Professor is expected to lead an independent research program and make significant contributions to one of the following research areas including, but not limited to:

• Machine learning of brain and body MRI

The Professor can be affiliated with the Department of Medicine, Department for Diagnostic Radiology, Departments of Pharmacology or Department of Physiology within the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and work closely with Centre for Sleep and Cognition and Clinical Imaging Research Centre (with MR-PET facilities). The Professor will have access to 2 research-dedicated 3T MRI scanners, EEG/eye tracker, digital wearables, and high-performance computing infrastructure. Pay scales are similar to those in the United States. Start-up package will also be internationally attractive.

Appointments will be made on a two-year contract basis, with the possibility of extension.

The Research Assistant/Associate who will play a key role in assisting in the development, execution and analysis of research aimed at addressing the challenges of training and operating in rising ambient temperatures. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary group comprising exercise and thermal physiologists, data scientists, biomedical engineers and researchers. The Memory Aging & Cognition Centre (MACC) is a Research Center within the National University Health System funded by the Singapore National Medical Research Council that focuses on the study of dementia and cognitive impairment in the elderly.
