Senior C&S Engineer

Working Days: 5 Days (Monday – Friday)
Working Hours: 8.30am – 6pm
Location: Near Ubi Mrt
Salary: $4000 - $6500

Job Scope:

• Civil & structure design, analysis and assessment for foundation, excavation, earth retaining structures, slope, instrumentation and site investigation.
• Plan, design, supervise & coordinate for civil structural engineering and infrastructure design and site works.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
• Liaison with project stakeholders, clients other consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.
• Assist Team Leader in maintaining high-quality standards of design and supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering in civil and structural engineering recognised by PE Board.
• Minimum 5 years design experience in geotechnical and civil engineering projects in consulting firm.
• Well-versed in civil and structural design software.
• Familiar with authorities' submission requirements for engineering projects.
• Familiar with civil structural designs and BIM will be an advantage.

Trading Operation Executive

• Working Days: 5 days
• Working Timing: 9AM to 6PM
• Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
• Salary: $4,500 - $5,000

Responsibilities

• Constantly maintain an accurate understanding and application of Commodities Trading Contracts and their obligations
• Perform planning and execution of shipment process in accordance to the relevant commodity contracts
• Perform accurate interpretation of contract terms in order to execute payments or receivables (including Letters of credit, DA, TT & etc) effectively
• Provide assistance in the planning of cargo shipments including vessel nomination, shipping advice, insurance declaration, discharge port agent appointment, load/discharge operations
• Manage and ensure accuracy of all shipping and payment documents including invoices, shipment documents issued by suppliers or external vendors
• Ensure timely and accurate issuance of preliminary, provisional, final invoices in accordance to contractual terms
• Ensure timely and accurate settlement of Accounts Receivables and/or Payments including laytime, freight differential & etc
• Liaise with respective departments including commercial, risk, finance, shipping & etc to perform resolution of issues identified
• Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the Operations Department

Intro:

Reporting to Team Manager of Accounting team, you will be responsible for management and financial accounting of assigned client’s portfolio. You will work closely with local and offshore team in an effective manner to motivate and coach the team, to continuously meet clients' expectations, to optimise the work process and to maintain close contacts with clients.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual accounts closing, submit quarterly GST reports timely
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with the provisions of the Singapore Companies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Prepare administrative services
• Ensure accuracy of accounts and proper accounting records are maintained in accordance with financial filing requirements and standards
• Assist to review and guide offshore colleague’s deliverable to ensure it meet client’s expectation
• Work closely with colleagues in various department to follow up on billings, accounts receivable matters
• Maintain up to date knowledge in statutory regulations by IRAS, SFRS, identify and adapt quickly to changes in those regulations
• Directly liaise with external auditors and prepare necessary information upon request
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

Required level and content of education:

· Possess a CPA with a recognized accounting body or ACCA or its equivalent

Business experience required:

· Minimum 3 years' working experience in accounts

· Hands on experiences in handling full set of accounts with sound groundings in accounting principles

· Well-versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards

· Willing to hands-on and capable of driving changes and initiatives

· Analytical, meticulous with excellent leadership qualities

· Possess professional qualities with good communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Language skills/other skills required:

· Fluent in English

· Payroll and Accounting software, MS Office

• Coordinate hiring process from jobs posting to arranging interviews on behalf of our clients.
• Manage documentation for new hires and departing employees.
• Process work pass (WP), Employment Pass and S Pass applications, renewals and cancellations and monitor foreign workers quota closely. Knowledge of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) application procedures for the different WP, S Pass and EP is necessary.
• Maintain/ Update employee personal records and ensure compliance.
• Handle staff insurance matters, including comparison of insurance plans, facilitating insurance renewals, liaising with insurers, processing claims, if applicable.
• Handle full payroll cycle administration, including monthly payroll processing/ reporting, commission and OT payments, employee reimbursement, CPF submission and employee income tax matters.
• Responsible for payroll audit exercise and submission of government surveys and government claims.
• Monitor HR policies, particularly compensation and benefits policies to ensure competitiveness and compliance to legal requirements.
• Proactively work with the clients on various HR matters, including onboarding and offboarding of employees, compensation and benefits, employee performance, staff planning and deployment etc.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.

2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the F&B Industry, prior knowledge of HReasily payroll software is an added advantage.

3. Good knowledge of Employment Act and other labour legislation.

4. Good knowledge of MOM Work Pass application portals.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

6. Resourceful, able to work independently with good interpersonal skills.

7. Attention to details and able to manage deadlines well.

8. Able to start immediately will be added advantage.

9. Flexibility to work from home 2 to 3 days per week.
