• Follow up on submissions of licenses / permits / documents are completed by contractors
• Submission of project schedule, weekly/monthly reports, filing and document management, invoice processing etc.
• Liaise & coordinate with users/consultants/contractors/vendors/tenants or any relevant parties on all site matters during and beyond office hours. Ensure contractor in compliance with Landlord house rules & guidelines,
• Arrange and conduct progress / technical meetings.
• Willing to perform frequent Retail Store’s site visits for inspections when required.
• Involve in A&A (Alteration & Additional Works), Relocation, Pre & Post Renovation / Reinstatement works.
• Assist in operations when available/required
• Other Adhoc duties by Management assigned from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or any equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in project works, preferably in public sector buildings.
• Proficient in excel and able to read basic design & technical drawings.
• Good communication skills & interpersonal skills.
• Able to work beyond office hours when required.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and tight project timeline.

Job Purpose:

• To be responsible for the financial accounting of companies
• Co-ordinate with shared services centre relating to accounting operations including day-to-day finance operations so as to keep proper accounting records and meet reporting requirements on time.

Responsibilities:

Financial accounting

• Prepare monthly closing journal
• Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules
• Review monthly inventories ageing report for adequate NRV
• Control chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archive
• Review stock take reconciliation
• Assist FM in annual policy renewal review
• Audit review support (External and GCAD review)
• Ensure compliance to accounting standards
• Preparing and submit Benefit in Kind (BIK) - Car and Car-related Benefits
• Annual Statutory Accounts, XBRL

GST and tax

• Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test
• Prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision
• Finalise corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants

Fixed Assets and Capex

• Review and maintain record for capex for new / replacement of fixed asset requisition
• Maintain asset register
• Maintain demo car record for every franchise and prepare costing for demo disposal and registration Capex

Co-ordinate with shared services centre and operations on day-to-day accounting matters

• Preparation and finalization of budget and forecasts
• Provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts
• Maintain SG Motor Insurance Policy master file and co-ordinate insurance coverage of company’s assets

IT matters

• Implement and test new programs developed to ensure that they function correctly based on our requirement
• Set up parameters and interfaces in GDMS for new models and/ or franchise.

Job Requirements

• Qualifications - Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance with 5-6 years of working experience or Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 3-4 years of working experience
• Good Excel skills
• Able to work in fast-paced environment
• Strong GL knowledge
