Job Summary:

As a Senior Buyer at Kaimay, you will play a crucial role in our procurement process by managing and optimizing the sourcing of goods, and services required for our operations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while adhering to quality and compliance standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors to source goods, and services that align with the company's strategic goals.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining a balance between cost, quality, and reliability.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve any supplier-related issues promptly.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, logistics, and finance, to align procurement strategies with company objectives.
• Reporting: Generate reports and provide regular updates on procurement metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
