JOB SUMMARY:

Continuously improve process technology knowledge and develop competitive budget and firm proposals that provide differentiation where possible for water and wastewater projects to enable growth for Gradiant in all targeted markets. The Smart and Sustainable Building Technologies (SSBT) team under Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) focuses on building energy modelling and simulation, decarbonization strategies for the built environment and R&D of green building technologies such as HVAC systems, lighting systems, building management systems and other novel solutions for the urban built environment sector. We seek a dynamic person with a PhD in engineering, sustainable buildings design or architecture, and a positive attitude to be a core member of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. You will need to actively support SSBT projects at ERI@N in terms of project R&D, technology evaluation & consultancy, project coordination, and customer interfacing.

2. The role will include the following:

• Perform as senior technical lead for SSBT projects involving industry partners, government agencies and/or external collaborators.
• Provide inputs for conceptualization of research proposals related to sustainable urban solutions, green buildings, low-carbon district level solutions and agritech applications.
• Lead in preparation and submission of new research proposals or tenders.
• Leverage on extensive experience in academia, industry or public sector agencies to establish multi-disciplinary research collaborations.
• Guide technical analysis and research on energy modelling and simulation for green building and sustainable farming systems.
• Mentor junior team members to achieve positive research outcomes and project objectives.
