Job Objective:

You will be playing a Client Servicing-cum-Sales Support role whose duties include both building strong business relationships with clients (car dealers) and helping with the backend processing of their transactions.

Core Responsibilities:

Dealer Management

• Ongoing farming and appointing of new dealers
• Brief KYC checks on newly onboarded dealers
• Constant rapport building with dealers to encourage business dealings

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC (80%)

1. Review each patient’s medication chart or prescription for the appropriateness of the drugs prescribed and to contact the prescribing doctor when an intervention is needed. The review has to ensure that:All orders are clear and specific doses are prescribed within therapeutic limits, and any potential adverse reactions and interactions are identified
2. Fulfill all drug orders accurately and in a timely manner.
3. Ensure that all related costs and revenue are accounted for, and accurately recovered.
4. Dispense medications to patients, explaining the indications for drug therapy and instructions for administration.
5. Provide drug information to other healthcare professionals.
6. Delegate, oversee and review the work of assigned subordinates.
7. Ensure that all sales and supply of medicinal products comply with legal requirements:Records pertaining to all phases of drug receipt, supply, storage and distribution are maintained as required by the hospital and/or legal authorities.
   Performs inspections of drug storage areas throughout the hospital.

(B) GENERAL (20%)

1. Actively participate in Pharmacy education and development programmes.
i. Provide lectures to Pharmacy staff and other hospital employees on pertinent topics.
ii. Practices continued reading of journals, publications, etc for professional advancement.
2. Responsible for the implementation and adherence to policies, practices and regulations established by the department, hospital and external regulatory agencies pertaining to pharmacy.
3. Provide relevant training to pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy students.
4. Support the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities and etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited University recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.

I. JOB PURPOSE

Assists pharmacist in managing operations and pharmacy technicians in the assigned section.

II. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Guide Senior Pharmacy Technician in implementing operational andclinical competency training of new or junior staff and attachment students. Also periodically reviews all training plans for relevancy.

2. Responsible for closure of all billing charges for the pharmacy section(s) and also ensure billing functions are carried in accordance to billing instructions.

3. Responsible for work instructions and training of new staff with regards to cashiering and billing functions.

III. SPECIALISED ROLES/ FUNCTIONS

1. Assist pharmacy in charges to review and auditmedication safety practices. Assist section medication safety in charges to implement medication safety and quality improvement projects and track outcomes. Monitor safety and quality trends and initiate change where applicable.

2. Ensure that medication repackaging standard andquality checks are performed in accordance of repackaging standards.

3. Ensure smooth running of daily UDP operations.
