Specific Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, is a Singaporean

- At least 3 years of experience in IT application development, maintenance and experience in managing the entire software development life cycle

- Have track records in managing successful maintenance of IT applications/products of similar nature using agile methodology

- Good interpersonal and communication skills to manage relevant stakeholders

- Experience in defence or public sector projects would be an advantage

- Knowledge in cloud technologies is a plus

We require a dedicated and experienced candidate for our Technical division to manage the maintenance schedule and arrange contractors for servicing in a timely manner, provide guidance and supervision to the team of facilities technicians.

The incumbent will be reporting to Facility Manager on status of works assigned, liaise with various stakeholders and end users of warehouse space to upkeep the facility condition so that it is a safe environment to work in.

Job description

Operations and Maintenance Regime (Preventive and Corrective Maintenance)

• Daily and Weekly Work Planning and Duty Roster

• Manage day-to-day functions of facility technicians and gather feedback and observations from routine inspections

• Guide and monitor Facility Technicians whenever help is needed to resolve facility / building issues while ensuring Workplace Safety

• Prepare the maintenance schedule and arrange contractors for servicing

• To ensure all preventive, corrective maintenance and ad-hoc works are duly carried out to ensure facilities and Fire Safety Equipment are in good working conditions

• To maintain and schedule the periodic maintenance and servicing for Ammonia and Freon Plants compressors, pumps and all equipment.

• To maintain Chiller plants and monitor the plant efficiency. Including Cooling Tower, Condenser pump and AHUs.

• Hands on Electrical, Mechanical, Sanitary and Plumbing works as needed to support Technicians

• Support Emergency Response Plan

• Coordinate with Safety/Security Team and landlord to verify Building/Fire Alarms and record events.

Job requirements

The incumbent needs to have experience in planning, coordinating and executing rectification works to perform general maintenance work within the Facility.

Experience in supervising vendors in the performance of general electrical works, repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of machines and equipment to verify or certify the job done.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. Diploma or equivalent from Electrical, Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering or related disciplines

2. At least 1-2 years of experience in handling facility management in a fulfilment centre, manufacturing, automated warehousing, with refrigeration systems preferred

Preferred Skills

1. Strong understanding and application of safe work practices

2. Experience with using Asset Management System and Scada System an advantage

3. Ability to speak, read and write in English

4. Leadership experience preferred but not required
