Responsibilities

• The Incumbent must be familiar with the provisions of the Destitute Persons Act and the Destitute Person (Welfare Home) Rules and the Vulnerable Adults Act.

• The Incumbent will be responsible primarily for:

What the role is

The Sustainability Division (SD) plans, strategises and develops initiatives to drive resource conservation and environmental sustainability across the public, private and people sectors. It develops programmes, coordinates and builds capability to support this drive. Working in SD, the PE/DPE/SE will be responsible for developing and reviewing plans and strategies for sustainable waste-to-resource management and carbon mitigation. You will play an integral role in the long-term strategic planning of future waste management facilities and be involved in the roll-out of these plans and initiatives, as well as coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.
