Job Summary

· We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead the Sub-Advisor and Customised Solutions team, which is part of the Group Advisory and Managed Investments team (Wealth Management) within Standard Chartered bank.

Responsibilities

Product Management

· Maintain oversight on third-party managers in the portfolios, carrying out ongoing performance monitoring and due-diligence work

· Work closely with the bank’s fund selection team – to ensure optimal process alignment, and monitor and select the best third-party managers globally, both traditional and alternative, to distribute to our clients

Our ideal candidate

· 10+ years focused experienced in third-party managers selection with the relevant experience for both traditional and alternative investment strategies

As Technical Services Manager (TSM) reporting to our Senior Technical Service Manager (STSM), you will work closely with our Operations team including Building Services Manager (BSM), making an impact in a number of ways:

Your Day to Day

• Lead and manage all aspects of the planning and coordination of all preventive maintenance and repair works; OPEX budget, ensure change management, incident management procedures and safety requirements are followed; coordinate activities as required with customers
• Coordinate with the Development team to run construction activity and installations, to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards
• Ensure adherence to site operating procedures (SOP, MOP, EOP, security) and any other documentation required by law, e.g. RA, SWMS and EHS

As a Project Manager cum Business Analyst, you will play a key role in this program, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance protection levels. Reporting to the Data Protection Program Manager, this role combines project management (40%) and business analysis (60%).

Role and Responsibilities:

• Define requirements through interviews, analysis, workshops, surveys, and process review.
• Utilize strong analytical skills, covering impact, risk, value add, dependencies, and more.
• Manage projects/initiatives from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with project governance.
• Collaborate closely and communicate effectively on functional and technical aspects with data offices, business functions, and technical stakeholders.
• Work with the Manager to align program objectives, budget, and timeline.
• Escalate foreseeable risks and issues to the Manager, coordinating with production and project teams for scope delivery.
• Oversee project delivery timeline, committee setup, and transversal coordination.
• Ensure compliance with external data regulatory requirements and internal Group policies.

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within the banking industry, specializing in Data, Transformation, or Process Domain.
• Strong command of Excel VBA/Macros.
• Proven track record in successful project delivery.
• CIPT/CIPM certification is a plus (Optional).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting professionally with diverse groups and subject matter experts.
• Proactive and positive attitude, demonstrating teamwork and commitment to achieving project objectives.
