Responsibilities:
Category Insights & Review:
a. Analyse and identify category issues, opportunities, or challenges in different channels with recommendations from customers’ data, retail audit, shopper research, market analysis and any data available.
b. Regularly review category and channel dynamics including portfolio range, distribution, merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
c. Work with Sales on customers’ and distributors’ annual business review and analysis.
Channel & Shopper Activation:
a. Develop and own the trade marketing plan and toolkits such as planogram guidelines, in trade campaign briefs and product trade launches.
b. Work with Sales & Marketing to develop, plan and implement product & campaign launches with channel activities including customised promotions, cross channel brand collaboration and chef ideation or recipes creations.
c. Work with distributor to manage E-Commerce flagship stores including planning and execution of E-Commerce marketing programs.
d. Lead and facilitate monthly Sales and Marketing planning meeting, consolidate with Sales on the trade activity plan and work with Marketing on Integrated Marketing Calendar.
e. Lead the development and management of effective POP materials, premiums, merchandising, roadshows, trade visibility and B2B food service workshops.
f. Provide promotion framework and pricing guideline by channel, segment, and product to optimise efficiency and effectiveness of promotional budget spend.
In Trade Execution Excellence:
a. Drive in-trade fundamentals execution excellence with Sales and Field Operations team.
b. Work with external agencies on timely and quality execution of activities including
display setups, sampling and cooking demo activations.
c. Monthly sales bulletin cascade with clear promotion & display guideline.
d. Timely and accurate communication to sales team of campaign, NPD, price and promotions.
Reports to the line manager on: -
a. Post activity performance and evaluation
b. Trade displays and visibility
c. Competitor activities (BTL)
Administratively responsible for the following: -
a. Promo fund spend tracking
b. Promotional pricing structure
c. Trade space buy display tracking and reporting
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business, Marketing or related disciplines
- At least 4 to 6 years of working experience in Trade Marketing, preferably 2 years
- Sales experience or similar capacity, from FMCG industry.
- Good in analysis using AC Nielsen, internal and external sales data.
- Well discipline, action oriented, self-motivated, work independently, innovative.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skill with CAN-DO attitude.
- Team player, excellent inter-personal skills, enthusiastic and determined to succeed in challenging environment.
- Pursue innovation and change with a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Willing to travel, out-stations and overseas where required.
- Has a valid driver’s license
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), video call software (eg. Zoom, Teams)
