• Managing Operations: Overseeing the entire card acquisition process from start to finish.
• Process Improvement: Collaborating with various teams (Credit Ops, Tech, Credit Policy, Risk Management) to enhance processes and policies.
• Automation: Streamlining and automating the card application and fulfillment processes.
• Customer Journey: Reviewing and gathering requirements to automate campaign fulfillment and cover all exception scenarios to reduce call volume.
• Customer Exception Management: Handling and resolving customer issues related to onboarding and credit card applications.
• Standardization and Efficiency: Standardizing internal processes and improving efficiency through report automation.
• Accuracy Checks: Ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree and above
• Knowledge in Payments business, especially credit cards.
• Experience in a financial institute or in the payments industry is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the trading activities and operations of bulk timber and palm oil products, actively expanding the group’s international import and export business.
• Establish and maintain robust partnerships with suppliers and customers, ensuring successful contract negotiations and execution specific to timber and palm oil products.
• Monitor market trends, supply chains, and trading risks related to these commodities, providing timely updates and insights to management on market conditions and trade performance.
• Regularly report on transactions, financial results, and profitability, overseeing the day-to-day activities related to the trade of these specific products.
• Develop and implement policies, business plans, and budgets for timber and palm oil product trading to achieve business goals in Singapore and internationally.
• Collaborate with producers, suppliers, processors, shippers, and financial institutions to ensure access to accurate market information and facilitate seamless operations.
• Stay abreast of global market developments in the timber and palm oil sectors and respond proactively to international economic and political changes that may impact the trading business.
• Analyze market opportunities and leverage the group’s platform and financial strength to pursue strategic partnerships, investment opportunities, and collaborations within the timber and palm oil industries.
• Ensure the smooth operation of all support functions, including documentation, finance, and logistics coordination, while providing recommendations to improve efficiency.

• Comply with credit risk management guidelines, ensuring no credit exposure without prior approval from management.

Requirements:

• A recognized degree in agriculture, business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in trading bulk products, ideally including timber and palm oil.
• Proven success in managing trade activities with a track record of achieving business growth and profitability in these sectors.
• Strong understanding of global supply chains for timber and palm oil products and economic factors affecting international trade flows.
• Familiarity with production processes, quality standards, logistics, and international trade regulations for these products.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, suppliers, customers, and partners across different regions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to respond proactively to changes in the market.
