Due to tremendous demand within the region, we are looking to hire Transfer Pricing Manager/Senior Manager level candidates (depending on experience) in our Tax Practice across our Southeast Asia offices, in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Our Tax Practice covers all aspects of tax advisory services in Asia, including M&A tax due diligence, tax structuring, general tax advisory services etc. This position will lead and/or execute a diverse range of complex assignments as well as cross border transactions. The candidate will also work closely with our Transaction Advisory Group and Private Equity Performance Improvement Group to provide integrated due diligence to the world’s largest and most high profile corporate, private equity and financial investors.
As a Transfer Pricing Manager/Senior Manager, your role will involve:
· Manage the entire project workflow and the delivery of transfer pricing engagements such as transfer pricing planning, documentation, audit defense, dispute resolution and Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) solutions
· Develop a comprehensive understanding of your client's business and the broader industry in which they operate
· Be responsive and proactive as an integral part of a client-facing team and lead discussions with clients for customised solutions and recommendations
· Coordinate with the regional and global network offices on client matters
· Coach and mentor junior staff, including providing technical trainings, to deliver high quality services to clients and build up transfer pricing and capabilities
· Undertake business development and Identify opportunities actively for transfer pricing and other tax services
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
· Degree in economics, law, finance, tax or accounting; a CPA or similar certification
· At least 5 to 9 years of experience in transfer pricing or similar experience, with sound understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts
· An SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage
· Strong managerial, organizational, project management and analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· An ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment
· A team player and independent learner.
