Job Description

• To assist PM to plan, organise and schedule projects.
• To prepare necessary document for submission to the authority.
• To conduct pre-con site survey/inspection then collate information and prepare inspection report.
• To assist in any project administration such as vet through project contract and arrange insurance.
• To monitor material listing.
• To take charge of handover process including final site inspection and prepare completion report.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in M&E / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Candidates with no experience or fresh graduates are welcome.
• Possess leadership and positive attitude is preferred.
• Able to prepare drawing with autocad or solidworks.
• Must be responsible, time conscious, organise and meticulous.
• Possess Class 3 driving license is preferred.

We are seeking a highly motivated research fellow to join our dynamic team at the School of Materials and Science Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. We are looking to hire a leading scientist with the expertise in microbiology. Some experience in materials science and engineering would be ideal. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of materials science, advanced manufacturing, robotics, and sensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• To isolate, identify and investigate how probiotics can impact growth rate and health of fish in the aquaculture industry
• Develop and formulate encapsulation systems for the delivery of probiotics
• Conduct growth trials and challenge tests with research collaborators to understand the impact of functional fish feeds vs existing feeds

Job Requirements:

• PhD qualification with relevant research experience in the stated fields like Materials Science Engineering
• The candidate will be hired in an aquaculture-related project that funded by a government agency.
• The candidate will be working as a part of a research team to provide expertise knowledge and skills in microbiology and materials science to address to the hypothesis in the project.

The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) invites applications for the position of Project Officer/Research Associate for a disaster zone enhancement project. This project explores the usage of Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites for complex rescue operations in urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and testing of FRP materials to strengthen concrete beams, columns and other supporting structures.
• Coordination between collaborators and progress reporting.
• Preparation of test videos, reports, and manuals from the results of the developmental work.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Materials Science & Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent, with 3 to 4 years of working experience; Masters degree in Materials Science & Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent, with at least 1 year of working experience
• Strong lab/hands-on skills
• Competent in data analysis and good communication skills
• Experience and knowledge in using FRP materials as a strengthening material will be a plus
