Freelance Preschool Enrichment Teacher/Trainer

Agape Education & Training Group is looking for freelance enrichment trainers for our Character-Building Enrichment Program to Preschools. We are looking for teachers that can travel to different locations to teach.

Job description:

• Teaching hours is in the afternoon usually between 3 to 6p.m. on weekdays.
• Lesson preparation.
• Deliver the lesson with the lesson plan provided at the centre allocated.
• Require to discuss lesson plan every last Saturday of the month via zoom.
• Require to attend a compulsory orientation and training.
• Require to reach the teaching location at least 10-15 mins before the start of lesson time.
• Require to pick up materials for teaching at Tampines office once a month before lesson briefing.
• Teachers will need to travel to different locations for teaching.

Criteria:

• Experience in teaching children of age between 4 to 6. Preferably with early childhood education or enrichment certification. (Sunday school teaching experience is considered)
• Familiar with the methodology of storytelling, role play, drama, music & movement and art & craft.
• Need to travel to different schools’ locations for teaching.
• Commitment of at least till end of the year.
• Speaks good English.
• Good classroom management.
• Responsible, committed and can work independently.
• Possess a laptop, mini speaker and able to use PowerPoint.
• Preferably already have the ECDA pre emplyment medical form, if not trainer will require to get one at own expense.
• Have a loving disposition with a passion to mould the next generation of children.

The key role as driver would include the following:

• Fetching clients to and from their place of residence and centre
• Fetching clients and staff for social outings
• Maintenance covering servicing, repairs, renewal of road tax, inspection of vehicle etc
• To keep the vehicle clean, and to wash and polish the vehicle once a week
• To keep proper records on users, petrol usage etc in the vehicle logbook
• To perform or assist in any other tasks or projects as may be assigned
