The incumbent is responsible to check shop drawings and samples including manufactured items.

This incumbent is also responsible to ensure budget are meet and FF&E items are sourced up to Client’s expectation.

The incumbent shall assist in overseeing the FF&E designers.

Job Description

· Working closely with design team in concept and design development.

· Responsible to select and prepare FF&E presentation of materials and finishes.

· Coordinating with design team in developing furniture layout, perspectives and 2D/3D renderings.

· Working closely with Design teams to ensure designs are in accordance to contractual and client’s agreement.

· Working closely and assist in co-ordination with consultants and clients when the need arises.

· Ensuring that project assignmenst are completed within the given deadline.

· Preparing full sets of FF&E specifications and documentations for tender & construction drawings.

· Reviewing of shop drawings from suppliers and contractors.

· Attending site meetings and site/factory inspection to review materials and furniture.

· Flexibility in handling multiple projects.

· Assisting in overseeing the work & performance of FF&E designers.

· Able to coordinate, delegate, give feedback, and mentor subordinates regarding their work

Work Experience & Qualifications

· Must possess relevant Diploma / Degree in Textiles or Interior Design or equivalent.

· Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in FF&E especially in hospitality industry.

· Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max and sketch up will be a plus.

· PC versatility essential.

· Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures).

· Good knowledge of drawing preparation and CAD standard, strong organizational skill and attentive to detail.

· Able to interpret specifications and layouts.

· Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Must be meticulous, a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast-pace environment.

· Highly motivated, strong communication, interpersonal, observation skills and team player.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and Preparation: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to plan installation activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and site preparation.
• Equipment Inspection: Inspect equipment or systems prior to installation to ensure they meet specifications and are in proper working condition.
• Site Assessment: Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate installation requirements, including space constraints, access points, and safety considerations.
• Installation Supervision: Lead installation teams, providing guidance and direction to technicians, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe installation processes.
• Assembly and Configuration: Assemble and configure equipment or systems according to manufacturer guidelines and technical specifications, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and functionality.
• Testing and Commissioning: Conduct tests and commissioning activities to verify the functionality and performance of installed systems, troubleshooting any issues or discrepancies as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure installations meet company standards and customer requirements, conducting inspections and audits throughout the installation process.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards during installation activities, promoting a culture of safety among installation teams.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of materials used, work performed, and any deviations from the original plan. Prepare reports for project managers and clients as required.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering installations that meet or exceed expectations, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent, preferred
• Minimum 1-year experience in the installation of electrical and communication infrastructures
• Candidates with Railway experience will be preferred.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work outside of prime office hours as required.
• Self-motivated and Service oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance.

• Basic office cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and throwing of rubbish. (No need to wash Toilet)
• Ensure cleanliness of pantry area , meeting room, function room, tables & Chairs and the whole office premise including walkways.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines

Working Requirement

- On part time basis, Once a week ( weekday - 4pm-6pm)

- minimum 2 working hours each time
