Operations

• Process contracts, orders, invoices and ensure all documentation comply with revenue and company policy.
• Works with Sales, Project Management, Competency Towers and Customers to assist resolution to customer billing investigations and disputes.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.
• Perform a variety of assigned tasks and audit work procedures for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries.
• Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, planned audit approach and procedures, and global audit methodology.
• Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and related information and communicate them to the assurance team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Submit reconciliation statement to customers on their slot usage against their slot commitment, it has to be drawn up accurately & submit within stipulated timeframe;
• Follow up with customer for the statement confirmation & ensure accurate & timely issuance of invoices; and
• Handle queries raised by customers & resolve the disputes independently
• To fully understand the structure of each deal & items stating in the checklist prior preparing the reconciliation template;
• Close follow up with Line Manager to ensure checklist is drawn up for each agreement prior the deal commences, making sure the checklist is updated whenever there’s changes to the deal;
• Setup contract details in system together with billing instructions to facilitate correct invoicing to customers;
• Update customers on the monthly slot charges with bunker update & ensure correct fixed slot invoices issued promptly to customers;
• Extraction of customers loading information – to scrutinize the report & probe agents for clarification on any data discrepancies, also follow up to ensure system gets updated with correct records;

Requirements:

• Diploma in Shipping/ Logistics or similar specialization from a recognized institution.
• Preferably 2 to 3 years’ working experience in shipping industry.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel;
• Detailed and meticulous and strong problem solving skills;
• Good analytical and numerical abilities;
• Pro-active with positive attitude and willing to learn;
