Ø Responsible for managing all functions and day to day operations of the restaurant during opening, mid or closing shifts.
Ø Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Ø Manage all necessary repair and maintenance issues
Ø Shares knowledge of South Indian Vegetarian food and ensures good food quality.
Ø Manage Catering orders and ensuring smooth flow in catering operations.
Ø Implementing regular cleaning daily, weekly and monthly and doing regular follow-ups.
Ø Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Ø Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Ø Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Ø Organize and supervise shifts
Ø Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Ø Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
Ø Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Ø Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
Ø Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Ø Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
Ø Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Ø Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Ø Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Ø Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Ø Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
