Responsibilities

• Collaborating with audit team members and members from other departments for complex/specific accounting and auditing matters
• Facilitating cross-border engagements and group audits with group/component audit teams and/or Grant Thornton network teams, specifically focusing on the India corridor
• Managing and delivery of assurance engagements according to Grant Thornton audit methodology for multinational organisations of various sizes

Qualifications and skills

• At least 6 years of experience in statutory audits

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Vessel Manager for one of our global shipping clients. The Vessel Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the company’s fleet of vessels.

The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience as Vessel Manager preferably on container vessels. He/she would possess good working attitude and has the ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage regular reports from vessels assigned to him/her and file them in a structured approach.

• Carry out regular data analysis of costs, PMS and other KPI factors in order to ascertain health of the ship as far ship management is concerned.
