General Manager(Construction)

Responsibilities:

The Project Management duties would include, but not be limited to:
• Responsible for the preparation and application of the Project Execution Plan.
• Monitor and control the progress and development of all related project deliverables through the various stages of the project in accordance with the policy.
• Lead Project Management teams. Provide expertise, guidance, advice, support and motivate project teams.

• Oversee and ensure that Change Management as it relates to budget, revised design and potential schedule impact is carried out in line with MBS procedures.
• Assist the Design team with design management, design coordination and design delivery to meet the project schedule.
• Work and liaise with the Design team on project matters, and also initiate value engineering initiatives to ensure that the project develops within the recognized cost and time constraints.
• Regularly inspect the progress of the work on site and provide guidance to the project and construction management teams on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes.
• Oversee and support the Construction Management Team to ensure the adequate and timely flow of information, designs, technical data and feedback, to meet the stringent construction schedule requirements on the project.
• Plan and Implement Procedure and Quality Checks for assigned projects.
• Assisting the Director of Project Management as directed in any other Project Management related activities.
• Sound knowledge of Project Management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily collection operations to maximize productivity and achieve targets.
• Handle credit control tasks, including payment processing and cancellations.

• Responsible for overseeing the settlement, financial planning and analysis function in Asia
• Providing insights, support decision-making and ensure financial health of the platform

Main activities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Develop and manage the annual opex budget, forecasts and long term financial planning
• Conduct detailed financial, variance analysis and prepare reports for management
• Track and analyse KPIs and financial metrics to assess business desk performance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost management measures
• Collaborate with Green desk to understand business needs, provide guidance and forecasting on carbon inventories vs demand/supply, actuals vs budgeted analysis

Settlements

• Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all financial transactions managed by the team.
• Prepare periodic reports and analysis on cash positions, settlement data to management.
• Ensure data integrity and efficiency between settlement and payment systems.

Treasury

• Oversee and approve FX/cashflows, ensure sufficient liquidity to meet financial obligations.
• Coordinate with Group corporate finance on local financing activities considerations.
• Monitor daily treasury P&L as per expectations on FX swap and IR funding decisions.
• Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks related to market/IR/FX fluctuations.

YOUR PROFILE

Education & professional background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional financial certifications like CPA, CFA are highly desirable.
• At least 6 to 12 years experience in a Finance function, preferably in a managerial role
• Experience in a multinational corporation or trading firm is a plus.
• Familiarity with gas/electricity and carbon markets is an advantage.

Technical skills

• Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques
• Financial and operational workflow management experience
• Advanced knowledge with treasury systems and financial software like SAP
• Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Reuters/Bloomberg

Job Overview

Investor relations and distribution executive working directly with a single portfolio management team to support the development of its business and increase assets under management. The role presents an opportunity to contribute personally to the success of a early stage funds management business and to be rewarded accordingly.

This role is based in Singapore, will involve regular travel within the Asia Pacific region and is likely to involve additional travel to Europe and the United States.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Work closely with the portfolio management team providing support on all business matters

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service providers to the funds and the business, such as legal, prime brokerage, bankers, accountants, administrators, auditors.

· Manage the distribution strategy for multiple illiquid alternative funds products.

· Generate quality sales opportunities that comply with all regulatory, legal and ethical standards for the company.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, private banks, family offices and HNWIs globally.

· Co-ordinate and manage collegiate working relationships with counterparties at prime brokerage consultancy arms, third party distribution agents and platforms that participate in our distribution ecosystem.

Requirements

· Relevant work experience with quality financial institutions

· 5+ years' relevant experience in asset management, bank, hedge fund, private equity or trading firm

· Excellent knowledge of and experience in asset management operations
