RESPONSIBILITIES

The Intern will be working together with our Client Service Managers and Executives to provide bookkeeping and finance services to our clients. • Obtains site-specific conditions, utility and infrastructure design, costs and availability of utilities, liaison with planning authorities and local logistics including site logistics during construction and phasing

Qualification:

• 15+ years’ experience in a Design MEP Firm or in the design team of a Mission Critical Building operator or subcontractor, OR 15+ years’ experience as an Architectural lead in a Mission Critical Architectural Design Practice preferred.
• MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR MSc in Architecture is preferred, BSc acceptable or extensive and demonstrable experience in role, Architects to hold RA or AIA
• PE/Chartership desirable but not essential
• Experienced in Project and Stakeholder Management.
• Ability to travel 15-20% of the time, mainly to Thailand and Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Handle full sets of accounts for the SCDA Group, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance
• Manage and perform the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash management, and bank reconciliations
• Supervise the monthly closing process, ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements and management accounts with analysis against previous FY and Quarter
• Perform ledger tasks such as accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and journal entries as required
• Manage the annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion
• Prepare and review quarterly GST submission to IRAS
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting as well as adequate risk management including appropriate documentation
• Assist in fulfilling regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including tax computation and other related statutory filings required
