Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Laboratory Assistant

The Senior Laboratory Assistant is responsible for conducting laboratory tests and samples and quality inspections assigned to them by the Supervisor.

They are expected to be knowledgeable on all equipment operating procedures as well as all quality control procedures and competent on the use of laboratory equipment.

Other responsibilities include:

• raw material process and finished product quality control analysis
• advance maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment
• maintenance of chemicals and consumables inventory, preparation and standardization of chemical reagents and waste management.
• maintenance of quality records and development of quality procedures
• training of junior laboratory or chemical technicians
• Calibration of equipment
• Conduct and contribute to risk assessment, Quality Procedures and Decision making on quality & maintenance
• Procurement of materials and budget controls
• Implementing QA & Safety Activities

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical related studies
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Laboratory Testing (Manual Wet Chemistry or Manual Lab Testing) and have good understanding of laboratory equipment eg. GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast pace Chemical Manufacturing QC environment
• Good communication skill and able to collaborate with different functions

Key Responsibilities:

• Record details for each pallet accurately and systematically.
• Affix labels to pallets in a consistent and orderly manner.
• Wrap pallets securely with stretch film to ensure stability and safety during transit.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow safety protocols and report any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform basic record-keeping tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
• Working Hours: Part-time (depending on shift)

Sales Administrative Assistant

Job Description:

• Key invoice, sorting of documents, issuance of credit/debit note and delivery orders, settling discrepancy when required.
• Handle Supermarket, Minimarts, E-Commerce, Wholesale Ordering and queries. There are many orders through phone group chats. Applicant must be comfortable with liaising with customers in the group chats. Must reply to customers' feedback or enquiry.
• Answering of phone calls.
• Printing of labels.
• All other ad-hoc administrative-related activities as assigned by Manager.

• Willing to work on Sundays/PHs if required. (Shift duty)

Job Requirements

Education:

Experience:

Technical Skills:
