Job Description & Responsibilities

• Food Preparation and Cooking:Prepare and cook guest orders according to their specifications and preferences, ensuring quality in every dish.
  Carefully select and prepare high-quality ingredients, including chopping vegetables and meats as required.
  
• Safety and Sanitation:Implement and uphold food safety best practices, ensuring all kitchen staff adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
  Exercise caution in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing sharp knives and hot surfaces responsibly.
  
• Kitchen Staff Coordination and Training:Assist in scheduling kitchen staff, delegate tasks effectively, and mentor team members to enhance their performance and productivity.
  
• Inventory and Ingredient Management:Assess inventory needs, maintain supply levels, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and readily available.
  
• Continuous Improvement and Trend Awareness:Stay updated on culinary trends and industry developments, incorporating new ideas to enhance the guest dining experience.

Our client was established in 1997. A wholly owned subsidiary of a major chemical company in Japan. They produce Super-Pure Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonium Hydroxide for the semiconductor industry.

Job Description:
- Perform daily accounting & finance duties including AR and AP processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation (by Job Rotation)
- Manage CAPEX and Fixed Assets processes
- Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including for intercompany transactions
- Handle monthly journals, audit schedules and lease matters
- Prepare reports as assigned on a timely basis
- Prepare quarterly GST Reporting (On Rotation basis)
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulations as well as corporate policies
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external customers like financial institute, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, government authorities, vendors and related parties where required.
- Assist in the annual audit process, tax filing (corporate, withholding) matters and any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
- Support system implementation and process improvements as necessary
- Analyze accounts and perform reconciliation.
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise and processes as per corporate guidelines.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy or above
- Those having CAT, partial ACCA or LCCI with relevant experience are welcome to apply
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting field
- Experience in using Navision or Dynamic 365 BC is an advantage

Job Scope

• Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, Payroll and Outsourcing.
• Responsible for providing a full spectrum of accounting, GST, payroll services, preparation of unaudited financial statements, and tax in accordance with professional standards to a portfolio of clients from various industries.
• Adherence to company standards and procedures is expected to maintain consistency and quality in all outputs.
• Any other duties assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy, Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or other equivalent professional qualifications.
• Fresh grad or 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experienced with Xero & QuickBooks Online is preferred.
