JOB SUMMARY

Manages the day-to-day operation of the accounting. Primary responsibilities include financial analysis and financial reporting, audit and control, and owner reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Oversee Accounts Payable and ensure timeliness and accuracy in invoice/payment processing to vendors, staff.

· Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Financial Statements/Accounting Close.

· Handle period-end activities, ensure timely and follow up on GRIR, Bank Clearing, open Balance Sheets items.

· Handle audit queries independently

· Cash/Bank Handling (if needed)

· Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies.

· Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

To be successful in the role, you should have:

· 8+ years of Finance experience.

· Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent qualified

· Self-motivated, meticulous, and analytical person

· Good understanding of Singapore Financial reporting standards and International financial reporting standards

· Team player

· Excellent command of English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

· Proficient in MS Office applications

· Support Director in accounting operations with company's financial strategy.

Job Description

• Handling inbound and outbound calls, replying to emails
• Manage the office administration, cleaner, pantry, etc., and ensure sufficient supplies
• Manage office facilities/equipment and work with suppliers/ vendors to rectify any issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and above
• Minimum 1 year of related experience, working in the financial industry (securities, fund management) will be a plus
• Fresh graduate is welcome to apply too
• Independent and also a team player who is dedicated, self-driven and highly self-motivated
• Proficient in MS Office and computer literate
• Knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, CPF and Income Tax legislation is an advantage

• Prepare all laboratory equipment, materials and set-ups required for P3 to P6 Science experiments, according to Science laboratory worksheets or resources provided by the Science department;

• Keep track of required lab lessons to ensure that they are carried out by the respective P3 to P6 Science classes;

• Suggest alternatives or alterations to laboratory set-ups to improve learning;

• Maintain and perform regular stock-takes of items in the Science laboratory inventory and for the care of learning spaces, and work with the Science department to arrange for timely replacement or procurement of items;

• Ensure neatness and cleanliness of the labs at all times;

• Support Science teachers in facilitating laboratory lessons to ensure a safe and effective learning environment;

• Maintenance and care for the following learning spaces: o Eco-ponds o Habitat tanks – Mangrove, Marine, Stick Insect tanks

• Stock-taking of learning materials issued to teachers at start and end of the school year;

• Morning duties as assigned to ensure safety of students; and

• Any other ad-hoc duties as requested
