Position Overview:

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach to assist in various financial tasks. Proficiency in Xero Accounting Software will be preferred. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Accounts Executive, the candidate will contribute to maintaining the smooth operation of the Finance Department. Do note that this is a fully onsite role, based in our Singapore HQ.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
2. Work with the Senior Finance Accounts Executive to reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
3. Support the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting activities.
4. Support and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

SUMMARY

The Senior / Accounts Executive verifies the daily revenue of the Hotels. He/she is a member of the accounting staff and works under the supervision of the Finance Manager/Accounts Manager. He/she must ascertain that all daily income that should be received by the Hotels is actually recorded and he/she will complete the various reports reflecting the Hotels’ income. In doing so, he/she will audit the work of the Night Auditor, Front Office staff and F&B staff, which affect the Hotels’ income.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Audit daily revenue from folios and vouchers given by The Night Auditor, Front Office staff and F&B staff. This consists of balancing the total checks, vouchers and total posting against the posting journals.
• Check the accuracy of data transfer from Opera and Infrasys to Sun System
• Prepare the daily revenue report.
• Undertake the regular administrative and accounting controls.
• Compile void checks and Officer Check/Entertainment Check summary
• Check the accuracy of incentive claims which are based on the Hotels’ revenue
• Witness Cash counts performed by the General Cashier
• Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Finance Manager/Accounts Manager
