BASIC FUNCTION

To provide assistance to Accounts Department and ensure accounting activities especially payable and receivable are accountable for on a daily basis. To support part of Human Resource activities which includes using online portals e.g. Ministry of Manpower, SkillsConnect and others. To undertake all tasks directed by General Manager and Board of Management.

Accounts Executive

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key accountabilities include the following but are not limited to:

· Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting

· Manage all accounting transactions of all food outlets and Central Kitchen

· Recording of bills, invoices into accounting system

· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

· Accounts receivable and credit control

· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

· Publish financial statements on time

· Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

· Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

· Compute payroll of all staff and support functions of Human Resource

· Coordinate and liaise with clients to ensure smooth monthly closing of accounts

· Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes

Requirements:

· Proficiency in accounting software and bookkeeping programs

· Demonstrate intermediate skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

· Time management and organisational skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organisation

· Ability to work independently in a fast paced working environment

· Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

· At least 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience in a food and beverage company

Assist day-to-day AP and AR Executive to carry out AP and AR job scopes

Handle dormant and partial small entities account

Maintain digital and physical financial record

Participate in monthly, quarterly close and yearly audit process

Other ad hoc finance related duties

Requirements and skills :

Work experience as an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Clerk

Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures

Familiarity with finance regulations

Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (eg. QuickBooks, AutoCount)

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

At least Diploma in accounting, business or relevant field

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Executive. This position plays a crucial role in managing the financial activities of the company and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payables, including timely payment to suppliers and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
• Manage accounts receivables, ensuring prompt payment received from customers and highlighting any overdue invoices to the Commercial Team.
• Perform variance analysis, bank and accounts reconciliation.
• Responsible for managing cashbook, fixed assets, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and coordinate period end closing activities.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 1-year working experience in a similar role is preferred
• Entry level candidate, Fresh Diploma Graduate are welcome to apply. Designation will be commensurate accordingly.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams & OneDrive)
• Prior experience in ERP software will be added advantage
• Meticulous, able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Can-do attitude
