Overall Job Purpose:
As a key player for Brand Experience & Marketing, you are the brand custodian operating at a high standard and bring together our organisation’s product, service and culture by playing a role in educating and communicating our island offerings to our guests in a one voice tone and manner.
You shall play a pivotal role in the activation team that is responsible for bringing the Sentosa brand to life and storytell through an experience-led narrative that inspires and captivates our local and international guests when they visit our island.
Collaborating with the design team, you will facilitate and translate the concept and artwork/visuals, bringing it to life on the island. This includes working and managing internal and external stakeholders to reach a common objective / organisational goal.
You will be part of a team that galvanises both internal and external stakeholders with the objective of driving the One-Sentosa Experience with both international and local guests, immersing them in a sea of fulfilling experiences and world-class offerings.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, you are a hands-on team player with a passion to bring brand alive through development & implementation of brand experiential activities. You are responsible for integration of design and activation of planned on-island initiatives. You must possess deep understanding of brand activations, good organisational and project management skills including spatial planning, production knowledge & technical know-how (in event & set display productions) to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of activities.
You enjoy being outdoor and ‘on the ground’. There is a requirement to work on weekends and public holidays, but your time will be compensated accordingly. You appreciate teamwork and understand the needs to be a proactive communicator to ensure that all the relevant stakeholders (internal and external) are well-informed and aligned according to the planning outcomes. You are obsessed with standards and the drive to deliver best-in-class holistic brand experience for Sentosa, ultimately turning positive guest experiences into brand love and loyalty.
As the brand custodian, you are responsible for ensuring brand governance according to the corporate brand and visual identity guidelines. You are guided and motivated by the study of best practices towards the successful delivery of brand activations and creative integration of ideas, in line with meeting brand health metrics.
Key responsibilities include:
• A key driver as project IC or event support including brainstorm, planning, research and execution of end-to-end implementation of a diverse range of projects that include festive, occasions, experiential events &programmes and tactical marketing campaigns; both virtual and physical events including guest engagement activities based on an approved workplan. Monitor and supervise all on-going activities to ensure each adhere to the organisation’s operations and brands guideline.
• A key contributor in the activation of marketing plans and day-to-day operations of assigned portfolios. This includes supporting ideation and implementation of design ideas, liaising with relevant stakeholders on the requirements to ensure successful delivery.
• An effective worker who has strong operating and quality standards by understanding briefs to determine requirement, able to present concept confidently and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
• A meticulous administrator who is responsible of the department administrative matter and a gate-keeper of our branded merchandise inventory & assets as well as corporate collaterals.
Job Requirements
• Diploma holder or equivalent experience in Events, Marketing, Brand activation or in a related field
• Understanding in application of design, brand strategy and events activation
• Skills sets such as stay up-to-date on trends, problem solving, strong communication both verbal and written
• Technical knowledge of event and display productions and on-site event experience
• Detailed-oriented, strong project management skills and self-motivated
• Team oriented and resourceful with ability to manage tight timelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools
• Has Class 3 license and able to drive a van is an advantage
• Familiarity with design software is an advantage
