Overview
We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive/ Accountant who will lead our accounting operations with precision and strategic insight. Your role will involve managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the timely closure of month-end processes, and crafting insightful monthly financial statements for management reporting.
Responsibilities
Accounting OperationsÂ
Spearhead the management of pivotal accounting operations, ensuring the seamless handling of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the meticulous maintenance of the general ledger.
Streamlined Month-End Closure
Oversee the efficient management of the month-end closing process. Guarantee the timely closure of month-end journals, accounts payable, and accounts receivable sections, underpinning the financial integrity of our operations.
Financial Statements
Take charge of preparing Monthly Financial Statements that are essential for insightful Management Reporting, providing a clear financial story that drives strategic decision-making.
Balance Sheet and Bank Reconciliations
Prepare and critically review all Balance Sheet Schedules, including bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial reporting, and fostering trust in our financial health.
Audit and Compliance
Play a crucial role in the year-end audit by preparing audit schedules and assisting throughout the audit process. Ensure strict adherence to finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings, including GST, safeguarding our compliance posture. Â
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work both independently and as part of the team.
Proactive with strong organizational and priortization skills.
Capable of multi-tasking, meticulous and attentive to detail.
Experience with Accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
