As a Marine Safety Officer, you will responsible to ensure that your assigned fleet of vessels are in compliances with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations, and you perform your duties accordingly with the company’s quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies. You will be monitoring vessels’ continuous performance improvement plan, ensuring timely periodical reports are submitted.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring the implementation of the Integrated Management System and the Ship Security Plan

Secretarial/ Admin Duties:

Support the Corporate Secretarial team on various matters.

• Maintaining office files and internal database, including job files, vendor files and other files related to the Company's operations
• Preparation of corporate secretarial documents
• Assisting the corporate secretarial team
• Liaise with Clients on general administrative matters
• Assist with HR matters
• Provide assistance to Management on company operational duties
• Any other Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Accounting Duties:

• Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Bank in cheques

Requirements:

• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Well organized

Job Descriptions:

1. Financial data collection and daily bookkeeping.

2. Monitoring of cash flows and bank fund movements of each Company or account.

3. Preparation of full set of accounts in accordance with IFRS and management reports required by management and stakeholders.

4. Coordination with external parties such as tax agent, corporate secretaries, external financial advisor and auditors.

Requirements:

1. at least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit experience is good to have

2. Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional certificate

3. Understanding of accounting principles and local statutory requirements

4. Hands-on, resulted oriented, multi-tasks and able to work independently as well as of a team player

5. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel

6. Good communication skills, proficient in Mandarin to communicate with stakeholder.

7. Taking initiative is a prerequisite, good working attitude.

Working hours: 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities:

• Identify and rectify control weakness through ongoing review/monitoring of the AML/S/CFT/ABC control framework from group and local regulatory requirement perspective
• Assisting management and Head of AML and Head of Compliance Singapore in their prime responsibility.
• Primarily responsible for KYC and client on-boarding as well as training on this topic
• Conduct AML/CFT training, keep up to date with implementation of new or revised regulations and update bank staff of the same
• Assist in preparation of material for Compliance training, audits and inspections, and investigations where required
• Involvement in ad hoc special work projects as and when required

Requirements:

• Possess Degree with 8-10 years’ experience in general compliance and financial crime compliance in private bank
• Familiarity with Greater China market is would be an added advantage
