You will grow your career at NEA’s Environmental Health Institute (EHI), where you will design and conduct field and laboratory research to assess the potential risks and harmful effects of chemicals to the environment and health. Key areas of focus include emerging chemical pollutants in outdoor and indoor environments, management of chemical consumer products such as pesticides and disinfectants, and toxicological studies to better understand health risks.

Through experimental research and reviewing of available literature and regulatory guidelines, you will provide science-based advice to inform decision-making, and work with stakeholders to translate scientific findings into policy and operations.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of environmental analytical chemistry and management of emerging pollutants; experience with field studies will be an advantage
• Experience in toxicity testing and/or toxicological evaluation of chemicals
• Keen interest in public health and research
• Capacity for system thinking and inclination for trans-disciplinary science
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous and analytical, with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Open to developmental opportunities
