RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for full set of management accounts for Singapore and Taiwan entities, and a few regional companies including consolidation of accounts.
• Manage cash flows and supervise collections/paymentsof these various regional companies the variousentities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (journal, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet & profit and loss).
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist in yearly forecast and budgets.
• Liaise with the respective countries accountant to ensure local companies accounts are in compliance with local statutory requirements (e.g. statutory audit, taxation, annual corporate filings etc.).
• Liaise with external parties (e.g. auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents).
• Ensure accounting and internal control procedures comply with Group policies.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as when assigned by Supervisor or Management.

• Min. Diploma / Degree in Finance and Accounting or other professional accounting certificate or equivalent.
• Min. 5 years of relevant accounting experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Prior experience in handling regional finance accounting especially Taiwan will be an advantages.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with our stakeholders in Taiwan office.
• Familiar with Sage 300 and EPICOR is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well organised, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
• A team player who is able to deliver under tight deadlines.

The Assistant Accounts Manager will oversee the full set of accounts, General Ledger (GL) and financial reporting for Singapore and other future overseas offices. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide financial insights for decision-making, and support the company's business. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

The Assistant Accounts Manager will report to the CFO. This position can work hybrid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with company objectives
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide regular reports and presentations to senior management
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements at group and company level
• Handle the full set of accounts and GL at holding company level
• Manage GST/tax calculations and submission
• Establish and implement effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks and protect company assets
• Apply knowledge of internal controls and best practices to ensure compliance
• Forecast and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives
• Provide support for banking and treasury activities related to concerned entities as necessary
• Support the CFO in financial activities and projects

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in the finance field
• Accounting or finance degree preferred
• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of internal controls and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong knowledge of planning and performance processes, including annual budget, monthly forecast and periodic business reviews
• Team orientated, a “can do” attitude and flexible approach
• Superior analysis skills
• Enthusiasm for solving problems and working collaboratively
• Work experience in industrial background preferred
• Independent/Self-starter with high attention to detail
• Experience in ERP system and project management skills will be a plus
• Must be able to work 1-3 days in Singapore corporate office
