Scope of Work
• Procurement – procurement of adhoc small value items, including stationery, food catering, bus bookings.
• Student administration – Help to process applications for financial assistance and related schemes for students from low-income families.
• Finance matters – Follow up with parents on outstanding bills on a monthly basis.
• Staff matters – Update leave and medical leave on the staff movement board. • Record keeping – e.g. utilities and telecommuniations monthly usage, photocopy monthly usage, maintain list of expiry dates of contracts and agreements.
• Attend to walk-in visitors (parents, vendors, etc) and students requiring assistance at the General Office.
• Attend to sick and injured students
• Answering telephone calls and directing the calls to relevant staff.
• Attend to incoming parcels and school emails
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the school.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
• GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or its equivalent, in the English medium.
• Good communication skills in English, and preferably be conversant in Mandarin.
• Able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude even when under stress.
• A pleasant personality and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
• An independent worker with initiative.
• Has an eye for details, and has good organisation and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Word and Excel.
Candidate with relevant experience in school financial administration will be preferred.
