You will report to the Assistant Director and Director in the management, monitoring and validation of cardiac-related clinical data. You are responsible for collecting, coordinating and processing, as well as ensuring quality control of these data.

You will provide oversight for quality assurance activities and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality assurance programmes. You will manage the team through data validation and management exercise according to the Ensure Safer Systems’ requirements.

You will manage and facilitate value-based (VDC) projects with internal and external stakeholders, which includes overseeing the functions of the value driven care committee such as collecting and analysing data, developing methodology for measuring clinical quality indicators, and working with domain heads on interventions to mitigate the clinical quality performance trends. You will render support in audits and licensing requirements by the Ministry of Health. You will also promote and encourage staff participation in quality improvement programmes through providing project consultancy and leading the team in case analysis and following up on areas for improvement.

You are required to integrate and analyse data using statistical methods, perform analysis and work with teams to coordinate projects assigned. You will also coordinate meetings and document its proceedings, prepare reports, and participate in the implementation of improvement initiatives towards enhancing patient care.

You are responsible to lead and mentor team members as well as afoster good communication and teamwork within the department.

The selected candidate will be offered employment on 2-year renewable contractual terms.

Job Requirements:

· Recognised degree in health science, allied health or nursing with at least 4 years’ relevant experience in a healthcare industry

· Experience in benchmarking and statistical tools and techniques, and knowledge in improvement methodology tools and techniques

· Proficient in Tableau would be an advantage

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Able to work independently with strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, and a good eye for detail

· Good oral and written communication skills

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing primary care and preventive health programmes for the hospital in partnership with the SingHealth Office of Regional Health. This role focuses on improving the health outcomes of residents residing within the assigned EGH population catchment, while addressing social determinants of health and implementing strategies to enhance preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness of the residents.

Requirements:

• Good Degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years were in a managerial capacity preferably in the healthcare industry
• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Public Health, Health Management, or its equivalent would be an advantage
• Proven experience in population health management within a hospital or healthcare setting would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s healthcare landscape and regulations
• Proficient with data analytics tools and techniques
• Possess excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
• Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional and institutional relationships and work independently
• Ability in managing complex, ambiguous and challenging situations
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Duties and Responsibilities

· The duties and responsibilities of a cleaning service manager can vary depending on the size and scope of the cleaning operation, but generally include the following:

· Supervision and Training: Overseeing a team of cleaners, assigning tasks, and ensuring they are properly trained in cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the proper use of equipment and chemicals.

· Scheduling: Creating work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure adequate coverage, efficient use of resources, and timely completion of tasks.

· Quality Control: Inspecting work performed by cleaning staff to ensure it meets established standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

· Inventory Management: Ordering and maintaining supplies, equipment, and cleaning products, as well as keeping track of inventory levels and ensuring proper storage.

· Customer Service: Interacting with clients to address concerns, provide updates on service schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Budgeting and Cost Control: Developing and managing budgets for cleaning supplies, labor, and other operational expenses, as well as identifying opportunities for cost savings.

· Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

· Problem Solving: Addressing issues or complaints from clients or staff members, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

· Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, staff attendance, and client communications.

· Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for cleaning staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

· Performance Management: Conducting regular performance evaluations, providing feedback, and addressing disciplinary issues or conflicts within the team.

· Adherence to Company Policies: Ensuring that all cleaning staff adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant industry standards or regulations.

· Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with other departments or external vendors as needed, and communicating effectively with management, clients, and other stakeholders.

· Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices, and staying current with industry trends and innovations.

Requirements

· Education: While not always required, a high school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.

· Experience: Previous experience in the cleaning industry or in a managerial role is highly beneficial. This could include working as a cleaner, supervisor, or assistant manager in a cleaning service company. Experience in customer service, personnel management, and administrative tasks is also valuable.

· Knowledge of Cleaning Techniques: A good understanding of various cleaning techniques, equipment, and products is essential. This includes knowledge of different cleaning chemicals, tools, and methods for different surfaces and materials.

· Leadership Skills: As a manager, you'll be responsible for leading and supervising a team of cleaners. Strong leadership skills are necessary to motivate and manage staff effectively, delegate tasks, and ensure that cleaning standards are met.

· Communication Skills: Clear communication is crucial for coordinating with clients, staff, and other stakeholders. You should be able to effectively convey instructions, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns that arise.

· Organizational Skills: Managing schedules, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that cleaning jobs are completed efficiently requires strong organizational skills. You'll need to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
