The Duty Manager supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the front office department to ensure the smooth delivery of guest service in accordance with the department's service standards and procedures.

He/She plans resources, allocates work assignments, maintains accurate room status information and handles operational irregularities.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Acts as Manager on duty for the hotel, dealing with complaints, problem-solving, disturbances, special requests, and any other issues that may arise.

- Directs and oversees all hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

- Manages the front desk, ensuring all employees perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate front desk activities with other departments.

- Ensures team members perform and accurately complete the daily night audit in a timely fashion.

- Prepares and distributes daily summary reports for Hospitality Services Division.

- Completes and records the Night Shift Checklist (before and after Night Audits) accurately, by Operational, Financial, and Administrative tasks listed in the checklists.

- Prepares incident report as and when required.

- Assists the Front Office Manager in implementing and enforcing financial controls throughout the department, helping control operating expenses, scheduling, and purchasing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage General Site Office Administration including coordination of IT and HR matters with HQ

2. Manage Administrative Payments for site expenses

3. Update and monitor workers’ overtime, responds to project site staff queries

4. Monitor manpower requirements at project site and ensure minimal disruption of daily site operations

5. Update Project Organisation Chart and monitor manpower

6. Liaise with M&E, Design, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Safety departments within project on site matters and provide administration support

7. Oversee application of statutory passes required for site project work

8. Ensuring all documents versioning up to date within filing system

9. Coach and review the work of site administration officers

10. Provide evaluation/findings and project results to HQ Tokyo in Japan on a regular basis

11. Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned

Requirements:

1. Possess Degree in Economics/ Business Administration or related discipline

2. Min. 3 years experience in Project Administration, construction industry preferred

3. Multi-tasker who is able to communicate with various stakeholders including Project and HQ Management

4. Independent Worker requiring minimal supervision

5. Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

6. Fluency in spoken and written Japanese would be advantageous as the incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate with Japan Head Office

Job Description:
- Manage client stakeholders, build relationships and deepen client accounts to assist in on-going business development.

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experiences in both marine and construction management only.
- Possess Certificate of Project Manager Safety Course is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD etc. Knowledge in SketchUp will be an advantage.
- Strong capability in client management and team/people management. High EQ to manage and work effectively with workers and divers from different nationalities and backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards in marine construction.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site, sometimes in remote or offshore locations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various project environments.
- Willing to work beyond standard working hours to respond to client’s requests and project exigencies, whenever required by projects.
