The role holder is part of the compliance team for the APAC region, working alongside the APAC Compliance Director. While the Compliance Director is responsible for the delivery and operation of the Compliance framework for Currencycloud’s APAC business, ensuring that the company observes all relevant local and international Anti-money-laundering, Financial Crime and Transaction Monitoring requirements, the focus for the APAC Senior Manager - Regulatory is to own and manage all matters relating to Currencycloud’s status as a company regulated to provide financial services in a number of jurisdictions within the APAC region. • Design and deliver regulatory training to first line of defense operational and business teams
• Support the business with decision-making regarding new-client on-boarding from a regulatory risk management perspective, working closely alongside the North America Compliance Director in escalation forums.
