Job Description
· Identify unique olfactive ideas, collaborate with perfumers, and partner with clients to develop them into successful freshness systems for Fabric Care category.
· Gain, defend, and revitalize business by crafting an olfactive vision for brands/ fabric care category at the local or regional level, producing innovative fragrance solutions wining with consumers for the key Southeast Asia market (Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam)
· Lead the creation and development process of active and proactive projects.
· Manage and execute multiple complex briefs, developing fragrances with multi-sites and selecting fragrances in accordance with the provided guidelines.
· Define and prioritize fragrances for testing, coordinating with Consumer Marketing Insights, and translating the results into olfactory guidelines for perfumers.
· Able to lead qualitative research work on the ground.
Business Development:
· Collaborate with the Sales Team to manage fragrance development, ensuring alignment proactively and reactively with client briefs and supporting Sales efforts through presentations and brand servicing in the Southeast Asia market.
· Work closely with the Sales Team to identify, assess, and capitalize on business opportunities within the Southeast Asia market.
· Gain, defend, and revitalize business by creating an olfactive vision for brands/categories at the local or regional level, generating innovative fragrance solutions tailored for the Southeast Asia market.
Strategic Planning:
· Identify and execute proactive business opportunities within the Southeast Asia market, leading international key projects and initiatives.
· Evaluate and build up fragrance collections, ensuring successful utilization and promotion for generating sales in the Southeast Asia region.
Collaboration and Guidance:
· Act as a solid partner for perfumers, providing guidance in their development processes specific to the Southeast Asia market.
· Participate regularly in experts' panels across categories in the Southeast Asia market, recommending submissions aligned with brief parameters.
Market Knowledge and Trends:
· Develop in-depth market knowledge in various product categories within the Southeast Asia market.
· Detect olfactive trends and category needs based on marketing insights specific to the Southeast Asia market, translating them into tangible fragrance solutions.
Category Strategy Participation:
· Contribute to the definition and execution of fragrance category strategies within the Southeast Asia market, collaborating across functions such as Marketing, Consumer Insight, perfumers, and the Sales Team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 10 years of experience in fragrance development within the Southeast Asia market.
· This position's level is determined by the number of years, complexity, importance of assigned customers, product categories, and a successful track record within the Southeast Asia region.
· Demonstrated strong track record in developing winning fragrances tailored for the Southeast Asia market.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
· Proven ability to manage both proactive and reactive fragrance development within the Southeast Asia market.
· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking for identifying and executing business opportunities within the Southeast Asia region.
· Collaborate effectively with the Sales Team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
