We are looking for an Otis ONE Global Product Manager, Mechanic Application to be based in Singapore.

About You

In this role you will report to the IoT Product Director based in Shanghai.

Your role will involve consulting with business departments to identify their requirements, optimize their processes, and manage projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring the correct and efficient implementation of IoT solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Your main duties will include managing and executing IoT software projects within the allocated time, quality, and budget using efficient methodologies.

What you will be doing

• Drive the Software Product development program from concept, planning, execution, to closure phase.
• Lead the cross-function and multi-site program team to deliver the new product development programs on time, on scope, on budget, and on quality.
• Program status reporting and budget planning, spending, and tracking for managed projects.
• Managing multiple types of programs including 3rd party partners development products and/or solutions.
• Accountable for general business concepts, ROI, budget management, strategic alignment, quality principles and application and organizational issues involved in software project and program management
• Execute data driven analytic and Web/APP product management.
• Drive Ecommerce, customer facing application and subscription management
• Utilize software requirements to work with internal teams to create, maintain and track the project schedule.
• Manage change, risks, and issues. Ensure issues are highlighted, addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
• Track project progress and report status to the management team and take ownership of managing dependencies and coordinate between teams as needed.
• Monitor project quality assurance (QA) activities, manage vendors (e.g. 3rd party suppliers), including requirements, delivery, quality, reporting and so forth.

What you need to be successful

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electronics and Engineering, Computer Science or Business Management.
• 5+ years relevant experience in a software related business, with 3+ years in a software management position, with demonstrated history and ability dealing with executive teams.
• Engineering experience in software development will be an added advantage.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure team’s activities are aligned with broader team’s strategy, priority and objectives.
• Have experience collaborating and managing 3rd party vendors including SW/HW ODM/JDM and manufactory.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to interact with and influence management at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership, team building and mentoring skills.
• Good written, presentation, and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Curious about new things, solution thinking, and data driven.

Responsibilities:

HR

- Oversee and implement strategic manpower planning initiatives.

• Collaborate with the business development team to offer practical engineering solutions by evaluating the design and installation of existing building energy systems, including chillers, heating, industrial compressed air systems, ACMV, lighting, and plug load management. 
• Develop plans for energy performance improvement to achieve cost and energy savings for building owners.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather technical requirements for preparing submission proposals that support the business development team in successfully bidding on and securing energy improvement projects.
• Establish and cultivate extensive relationships with customers and authorities through networking efforts.
• Identify and address problems and challenges faced by potential clients, developing innovative solutions in collaboration with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and service providers.
• Propose Energy Efficient solutions to clients, including detailed operating and life cycle cost analyses (ROI).
• Offer technical support and assist in addressing tender and bid queries.
• Conduct training sessions to impart knowledge to internal employees and external partners.
• Contribute to the entire lifecycle of B2B projects, from specification-in to bidding and installation.
• Provide crucial information to the sales team to enhance their efforts in securing projects.

Requirements:

• Holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering and possesses a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the Energy industry or related fields.
• Holds certification as a Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM) or Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM).
• Demonstrates strong technical knowledge, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in large-scale commercial or industrial buildings.
• Experience in energy audits and managing chiller system retrofitting projects is advantageous.
• Possesses good knowledge and experience in ISO 50001 energy management system and BCA GM scheme.
• Familiarity with the principles of design, construction, engineering, and building regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analytics software.
• Knowledge of Autocad, BAS controls, Machine Learning, and/or AI programming languages is an added advantage.
• Certified Energy Auditor certification is preferred.
