Role Overview:

Administrative Assistant is integral to the smooth operation of our office. Your role will involve a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to, document management, communication handling, and liaison with external parties. The ideal candidate possesses a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency in all aspects of their work.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare, file, and organise various company documents and records, including HR, billing, expenses, internal equipment, and corporate files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and that all information is current
• Maintain confidentiality of all company information
• Handle incoming communications via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses
• Liaise on behalf of the company with external parties, including but not limited to, government departments, auditors, vendors, and associations, building and maintaining good relationships.
• Address staff queries
• Staff onboarding and offboarding
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for company management and leadership, ensuring optimal time management and avoidance of scheduling conflicts
• Distribute agendas and prepare minutes for meetings

The Must-Haves Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 year of experience in administrative or secretarial roles.

Job Description

Purpose of the post

Main duties and responsibilities

The research assistant will be expected to develop and apply machine learning algorithms to brain MRI and other health data. The candidate will also provide support to other projects in the centre.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

1. Have an honors (first class or high distinction or equivalent) in the Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related STEM discipline.
2. Be able to work independently and in a team, have an investigative nature, attention to detail;
