Our Water business is currently hiring an ARE Instrumentation Controls and Automation (ICA) to be part of the major water treatment project in Tuas, Singapore. Jacobs role is The Client's Representative managing design and construction supervision.

The ARE ICA will participate in the engineering / technical review process and also oversee ICA field supervision / inspection and quality control and assurance matters for the construction of the respective facilities in the contracts under their care on TWRP project using their experience and knowledge in the construction, inspection and quality assurance of ICA elements. • Monitor the works of the Contractors for works designed and supervised by the Contractors including receipt and review of required forms from the contractors.
• Keep abreast of Contractors’ progress and performance and provide recommendation for improvements when a gap is identified.
• Carry out keeping and maintenance of site records and carry out periodical checks of site records to ensure records are up to date and in good order.

• When requested, provide an independent assessment of the certification of the value of work completed and recommendation of progress payments to be made to Contractor

Job Responsibilities:

· Handle full sets of Accounts, and prepare relevant schedule and reports to be ready for Audit.

· Timely data entry to the accounting system and preparation of reports

· Reconcile accounting records and bank records

· Prepare Invoices and debt collection

· Check and follow up with payment matters

· Liaison with Clients and suppliers and vendors, external Auditors and Tax Agents

· Prepare and file GST returns

· Submit survey reports required by government

· Provide other supporting functions to the Finance Division and Company

· Prepare fortnightly payroll from collection of data to arranging payment to staff.

· Assist on budget and forecasting exercises

· Handles staff attendance, leave updating

· Knowledge of Employment Act

· Any other ad hoc assignments

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or Accounting related qualifications

· Min. 1 year relevant working experience in Accounting is preferred

· Proactive, committed and able to work in fast paced, high volume processing working environments

· Positive attitude, hardworking, possess initiative & ability to work independently

· Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Words.

· Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and able to meet deadlines

· Meticulous and detailed oriented, good filing system

· Possess and inquisitive and analytical mind and proactive in problem finding and resourceful in problem solving

· Excellent inter-personal skills, problem solving skills and a team player

Responsibilities:

• To assist Regional Housekeeping Manager in directing the daily operations of Unit Cleaning, Laundry, Landscape, Public Areas, and Pest Control
• Carries out quality control checks of rooms/units, ensuring the rooms/units are maintained with utmost cleanliness and comfort for all guests.
• Conducts daily briefing, training, and monitoring of outsource and internal cleaning teams, ensuring cleaning standards are met and exceeded for all guests.
• Plan and schedule daily maids’ assignments, noting all guests’ requests and preferences.
• Inspecting and ensuring all units assigned are cleaned and completed by end of each day.
• Carries out inspections on public areas, grounds and landscape are well maintained.
• To check and record routine pest control treatments are carried out in units and public areas.
• To arrange for urgent pest control treatments with outsource vendor if required.
• To ensure all sub master and master keys are monitored and accounted for daily.
• To coordinate and conduct quality control checks on in house linen, guest laundry and staff uniforms sent for pressing/washing/dry cleaning with outsource vendor.
• To monitor stocks and raise EPOs for breakfast, in house item inventories and welcome packs.
• To liaise with all approved vendors on quality control, receiving, stock ordering and cost control
• To attend daily operations meetings and any other follow up action required by guests/Regional Housekeeping Manger

Requirements:

• Hotel diploma or certificate in Hospitality
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
• Great multi-tasking skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Able to commence work within a short notice period.
