RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management
· Demonstrate strong commitment to maintaining high levels of customer service, and maintenance of client relationships
· On a day-to-day basis, contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings, organize follow-ups
· Develop quotations and proposals for clients, manage the proposal process from end to end
· Recommend changes to content of proposals by studying client feedback and responses
· Keep management informed by submitting activity and result reports
· Coordinate with the legal team to provide status updates to clients
· Resolve customer concerns and complaints quickly and effectively
· Attend networking and day-to-day business development activities
· Liaise with Chinese-speaking clients
Strategic Planning
· Work closely with practice directors to understand their practice business objectives
· Formulate effective business development strategies and execute the plans
· Monitor competition and strategies accordingly
· Initiate internal communications to increase referrals from and to other practice groups in the firm
Marketing
· Support marketing plan initiatives to drive activities such as building brand awareness, public relations, thought-leadership campaigns, sponsorships, knowledge-based marketing, social media posts, website content for lead generation, talks
· Identify issues and opportunities to be exploited for marketing purposes
REQUIREMENTS

· Good interpersonal skills, consultative and engaging style, able to facilitate discussions and justify solutions in clear non-technical language
· Good business acumen and strong analytical skills

· Diplomatic team player with the ability to communicate effectively with people
· Attention to detail
· Good presentation skills
· CRM (InterAction) skills is preferred but not a must
Skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, to communicate effectively with English-speaking clients on legal matters.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients on legal matters. Proficiency in Chinese Dialects will be an advantage.
· Strong working skills in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Work Experience
· Prior relevant experience is not required
· Education in business, marketing or communications studies is preferred
