Key Responsibilities:

The Legal Counsel will play a key role in the continued global growth and expansion of NEON.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Advice – Provide legal advice to stakeholders and business units on a wide range of corporate commercial matters, draft, review, negotiate and advise on agreements related to intellectual property, transactions, procurement, inter-company matters, employment, compliance, and other corporate matters.
• Risk Management & Problem Solving - Manage the company’s risk whilst maintaining a competitive business environment. Anticipate, identify, and solve legal problems.
• Policies & Procedures - Develop and implement policies and procedures related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
• Project Management – Instruct and work closely with external counsels, liaise with both internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure timely desired outcome.

Good to have:

• A J.D., L.L.B. or equivalent law degree with 10 years of legal and compliance experience with a good mix of private practice in a good law firm and in-house experience in a corporate commercial role.
• Experience working in or supporting Singapore and other global markets with a background in IP is preferred
• Excellent communication and drafting skills. Ability to speak, read and draft at a high level is a must.
• Superior stakeholder engagement skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively with key stakeholders and team members.
• A team-player with an ability to work with colleagues from different teams and able to work independently and self-manage competing priorities under deadlines with minimal supervision as part of in-person and virtual teams.
