Responsibilties:

The Project Manager’s role is to manage, plan and oversee the clearing and management of defects in the Jurong Island Desalination Plant (JIDP) facility , including carrying out feasibility studies, front-end engineering to project implementation comprising detailed engineering, manufacturing, construction, testing and commissioning to clear all outstanding defects, while performing value engineering, cost optimization within the budget allocated, in a timely manner and with highest safety standards.

This will include:

• Carry out project management activities including project cost estimation, project scheduling and project risk assessment;
• Prepare technical specification and tender documents and be involved in contract negotiation;
• Conduct tender evaluation for the award of consultancy and EPC contracts;
• Prepare and present periodic updates to Senior Management
• Carry out project management and contract management for EPC projects; and
• Maintain good working relationships and coordination with relevant parties such as client, authorities, consultants, key equipment vendors, contractors for the development and implementation of new projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, or Project & Facilities Management
• Knowledge in Engineering processes
• Knowledge in project management with 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in project management in water treatment plants or similar plants/systems
