Job Purpose

To support the F&A Director APAC to provide insights and analysis of the region’s business performance by clusters, markets, categories, and channels to achieve aligned profitable growth target. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in each cluster to analyse opportunities and challenges and to report the region’s financial performance in compliance with Barilla Group’s accounting policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

1. Provide monthly consolidated overview of the region’s performance by clusters, markets, categories, and channels, versus targets, including tracking the status of identified opportunities and challenges.
2. Support the F&A Director of APAC during the annual budget and quarterly forecast setting process of the region by clusters and categories.
3. Monitor and track the commercial investments, marketing investments and structure costs spending within the region.

5. Support ad hoc financial analysis and key initiatives within the region.

Requirements:

1. Minimum degree in Finance, Business and/or Accounting (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Champion the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality Assurance (HSEQA) policies to ensure compliance in the operation of fleet vessels. Provide timely reports to the Corporate Compliance Manager (CCM) and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) on any non-compliance issues regarding environmental measures and marine protection requirements.

Develop and implement HR strategies, including defining departmental responsibilities, recruitment, training, records management, succession planning, employee relations, and retention efforts.

• Collaborate with Department Heads to assess training needs for all roles and devise plans for compliance and performance enhancement.

• Aid the Director of HR & Crew in formulating and monitoring HR budgets covering key areas such as Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Training, Events, Travel, and Employee Welfare.

• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements across all offices under the guidance of the Director of HR.

• Foster a performance-driven culture by conducting evaluations in line with company policy. Review and recommend annual adjustments to awards, wage structures, and welfare benefits.

• Support the Director of HR & Crew in implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies across the ESM Group of companies to maintain regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Minimally a Diploma or Degree – Preferably in Human Resource
• At least 4 or 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resource
• Good administrative, planning and implementation skills
• Good English writing skills
• Computer literacy is a must
