Job Description

· Monitor vessel operations for compliance with the Company’s HSEQ policies and procedures, ensuring that it is effectively implemented on board by means of responding to all HSQE reports within company’s SMS.

· Ensure that practical procedures to meet the HSQE Objectives and Policies are developed, implemented, and revised.

· Ensure fleet vessels compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW and MLC regulations.

· Ensure cargo and ballast procedures are properly implemented on board and verify cargo and/or ballast plans for compliance with all safety aspects.

· Ensure fleet vessels Navigation practices/procedures meets industry standards and maintained through improved navigation practices, equipment, training and procedures.

· Monitoring SIRE Vetting Inspections status of fleet vessels, arrange and coordinate inspections. Response to observation/s until final close-out.

· Responses to deficiencies observed during Port State Control (PSC) and Flag State Control (FSC) inspections.

· Coordinate preparation, approval and maintenance of procedure manuals/plans as required by related international conventions.

· Coordinate registration and take-over or hand-over of vessels.

· Coordinate and arrange issuance and amendments to all vessel’s trading & statutory certificates in close liaison with Technical Superintendent.

· Assist HOD in any Marine, Operation and Safety matters.

· Participate in company emergency response.

· Take lead in incidents and accidents investigation.

· Carry-out internal audit and safety inspection on board fleet vessels.

· Sail on board the vessel as required.

Requirements

Qualification: Master Mariner with seagoing experience as senior officer on Tanker. Previous shore experience of two years at least similar position. Good Knowledgeable of regulatory, class requirements and international standards. Must be conversant with ISM/MLC/SIRE/CDI and TMSA requirements. Certification for ISM, ISPS & MLC Internal Auditor. Ability to effectively work and communicate within multicultural office and shipboard environments.

• Analyze existing reports to different stakeholders, identify process gaps and optimize them for standardization across the company
• Manage end-to-end analyses; identify issues, gather information from various sources, analyze data, interpret patterns and trends, build models, give recommendations, and create insightful automated reports
• Translate business needs into BI reports with unique use cases for key users
• Automate and validate newly created reports and develop corrective actions to improve data integrity and quality
• Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with internal and external data sources
• Support ad-hoc data requests & reporting

• The development of a functional and validated technical system, including demonstrators and prototypes.
• Representation of all technical disciplines including System Engineering roles (Requirements Engineer, Product Architect, Product Integrator and Functional Safety Manager).
• Coordination, Monitoring and Control of tasks, inside the technical disciplines (Hardware, Software, Mechanics, Optics and Test), related to the product development.
• Consolidation of the results of the technical disciplines and presentation with the Project Manager.
• Primary contact person for technical problems and questions.
• Overview of the status from all R&D disciplines.
• Responsible for the technical parts during Risk Management activities.

• Preparing business and sales reports for the team and management

• SAP and other price system operations

Project Manager ‘Green Desk Business Development” in Singapore

PIC to develop a “green product desk/portfolio” for the Asian team:

· Everything related to Virtual Carbon Credit trading( VCC ) : role-out, training, promoting VCC in supporting role to Traders, marketing material, research etc

· Circular economy: support existing Desk in the role out and enhancement of business for products such as slag /secondary Non Ferrous/ additionally other Non Ferrous related scrap etc.

· Biomass: support and take over all project Management on Biomass such as Wood Pellet discussion/ wood chips / off-cut wood trade etc

· Research, find and develop own “green product” ideas and trends for tangible impact on the PL. Including proposals to Management on business plans and possible hiring of necessary traders (if required). Possibly involve or support such trade personally.

General Project Manager tasks:

· E.g. take over Project Managememt Office role to follow-up and support Operating traders during project such as Met Coke Stock and Sale for India. Market research, being counterpart to Germany (Biz development) on contractual and legal questions. Business plan development etc

· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with support from tk traders with clients and suppliers (e.g. Long Term Agreements).

· Ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with the company's objectives (compliance etc.).

· Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives.

· Provide regular reports and updates to management.

Lead Generation on new product ideas and business fields:
