Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to oversee the development and use of data systems in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE-ID)

ADVANCE-ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. It will function as an active network that involves patients in platform trials, allowing for rapid clinical research response in the event of an emerging infectious disease or pandemic threat.

The data manager should be a data expert with experience in clinical trial data management and will be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Data Governance: Establishing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the organization.
• Data Collection and Integration: Designing and implementing data collection methods and processes to gather relevant information from various sources.
• Database Management: Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of databases to store and organize data efficiently. This includes database architecture, data modeling, indexing, and performance optimization
• Data Integration: Combining data from different sources into a single, unified dataset. This involves merging, consolidating, or linking data based on common data attributes or identifiers.

• Data Quality Assurance: Developing and implementing procedures for data validation,data cleansing, and data quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, andcompleteness of data.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collaborating with investigators to provide accurate andtimely data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Data Strategy and Planning: Contributing to the development of data strategies androadmaps aligned with the organization's objectives.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, includingIT, analytics, and business units, to understand data requirements and ensure dataavailability.
• Compliance and Regulations: Keeping up-to-date with data protection regulations,industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical trial data management

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Events Management, the Sales Coordinator, Event Management is responsible for providing administrative support for the Events team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of revenue reports and annual budget and business plan.
• Assist with enquiry calls for prospect weddings/ corporate events.
• Qualifies leads received for prospect weddings and corporate events and obtain the necessary information to formulate a proposal.
• Handles telephone calls and accurately take messages, new enquiries, check availability for both function and guest rooms.
• Ensures all incoming calls and email correspondences are forwarded to the respective Events team members upon receipt and assist with email proposal responses within 24 hours.
• Check function and guestroom availability for site inspections.
• Conduct site inspections in the absence of Event Managers.
• Assists in preparation of events forecast to be communicated to relevant departments.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of Banquet Event Orders for upcoming events.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients, understanding their financing needs and business objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact for SME clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and market dynamics to provide tailored financial solutions.
• Source and identify new lending opportunities within the SME segment, including prospecting and lead generation activities.

• Structure and negotiate loan terms and conditions in accordance with lending policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines.
• Manage a portfolio of SME loan accounts, monitoring loan performance, repayment behaviour, and compliance with loan agreements.
• Proactively identify and address potential credit risks or delinquencies, implementing appropriate remedial actions as necessary.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as credit analysts and legal teams, to ensure timely and accurate loan documentation and processing.
• Provide financial advisory services to SME clients, offering insights and recommendations on business growth strategies, cash flow management, and capital allocation.
• Assist clients in preparing loan applications and supporting documentation, guiding them through the loan approval and disbursement process.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in commercial banking, SME lending, or relationship management, with a focus on business development and credit analysis.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully originating and managing SME loan portfolios, achieving lending targets, and mitigating credit risks.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to evaluate business financial statements, assess credit risk factors, and perform cash flow modelling.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
