The Project Engineer ensures that all mechanical and electrical projects are completed successfully, meeting client requirements, safety standards and within the allocated budget and timeline. 1. Project Planning – The project engineer is involved in the planning phase of the projects, collaborating with other stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, timelines and budget constraints. He/she work to understand the specific requirements of the project and create a comprehensive project plan.

Design and Engineering – The project engineer is responsible for collaborating with the design team or design vendor(s) to ensure that the designs are well-engineered and meet the necessary technical specifications. 3. Procurement – The project engineer may e required to be involved in the procurement of necessary equipment, materials and components that are required for the project. He/she will have to ensure that the materials meet quality standards and are delivered on time to the work site.

9. Documentation – Keeping detailed records and documentation of the project’s progress is essential. The project engineer maintains accurate documentation including reports, drawings, change orders and other relevant paperwork.
